    Hotel room may not seem fascinating compared to the exterior look which is modern and small in size. But if you don’t expect too much it is able to give you what you need as it’s within walking distance to popular shopping streets at Myeondong

    The hotel was clean and comfortable with easy access to metro. We found that if we walk to the exit 7 at train station underneath there were a lot of local restaurants and coffee shops.

    All I can say is, you can really tell it’s a hotel from a well-known brand. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also noticed that we were on our honeymoon and kindly arranged a great room for us, along with a complimentary bottle of white wine. Such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, elegant, and very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the bathtub. The hotel is also very close to the subway station, with a supermarket and restaurants right downstairs, which was super convenient. The subway station nearby also makes it easy to get to the airport, and Hongdae is just a short ride away. At the same time, the area is much quieter and less crowded than staying right in Hongdae. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

    While the room itself was spacious, the amenities and service were extremely disappointing. 1. Lack of basic amenities: There were no proper mugs or spoons provided, only disposable paper cups. Room supplies were practically non-existent beyond bath towels; items like toothbrushes and slippers must be brought yourself. The complimentary coffee was by far the worst I’ve ever had, just weak tea-bag style coffee with zero flavor. I stayed at a few other hotels prior to this one, and all of them were fully equipped with decent amenities, none of them were this cheap and lacking. 2. Unhelpful and argumentative service: When I called the front desk simply asking for a proper mug for hot coffee and a spoon for my yogurt, they refused to provide them. I even had to argue with the front desk staff for quite a while, which completely ruined my mood. 3. Location is just okay: Although the hotel is advertised as being next to a subway station, the station itself is massive and requires endless walking inside, making it far less convenient than it sounds. If you are looking for convenience, some hotels nearby with direct bus stops right outside would be more convenient.
