Great facilities and staff!
Rooms were immaculate, bar downstairs was an added bonus. Great atmosphere around from a lot of people staying there after the World Club Challenge. Great place, will definitely return!

Nice hotel in a good commuter location
The gym and the pool are great. It's also nice to have the bar & grill on-site. The room was well equipped and very clean.
The bed for the double room was 2 twin beds pushed together and was uncomfortable. It should definitely be a double mattress and not 2 twin beds pushed together. Sleeping with a seam in the middle is ridiculous.

Needs improvement!
The location and the pool
A number of things. I upgraded to a club room. Which, apart from giving access to the gym and pool seemed to give me a huge room with no space to do anything! By comparison even a Travelodge for £29 gives a sofa and a desk! The desk in the room is over taken with a huge tv and a coffee machine. A coffee machine with no milk! Furthermore, since I last stayed in a village hotel the breakfast has become diabolical! On what planet can’t even the KP knock up real scrambled eggs and fried eggs? Packet scrambled eggs is just disgusting! Especially at over £100 a night! Lastly, football is bollocks! There’s 6 screens in the bar and in the evening every one of them was playing football and the volume was so loud I couldn’t hear myself think! Not everyone gives a toss about football! If you’re playing sports, have a selection, ice hockey, rugby, motor sports, athletics, there’s sports on sky from around the world, put a different one on each tv! For this reason I went out to find food! Not eat in! These are all very simple and basic considerations but the biggest one for me is the breakfast quality! When the village is being outdone on breakfast! Come on! Fry and scramble fresh eggs! Even McDonald’s cook their eggs fresh!!

Could be better
Location & price.
Having works completed during the night when I stayed so no water from 11pm to 4am and some drilling can be heard during the night. Staff didn’t seem bothered when I mentioned it.

Generally, we had a comfortable stay and would use the hotel again.
Your staff are really pleasant and friendly and I see them as your main asset. Also the room was comfortable and very clean.
I am a vegetarian and found the menu for vegetarian in the bar/grill was very boring, so I ate elsewhere. Also the bar was quite noisy. I can see how it appeals to people using the sports facilities but the ambience is not great for people after a long journey who want to relax and have a quiet meal.
