Cosy and well located

Great location but still a quiet hotel. Friendly team and comfy beds.

Layout of room on 6th floor wasn't ideal for parents we were travelling with but not the end of the world!

A pleasant short break at a convenient location with adequate accommodation.

The location was convenient, with buses and metro nearby, while having a restaurant attached to the hotel made eating out very easy. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. The buffet breakfast was good.

Although the room size was given on the booking, the room was more cramped than we had anticipated. It stated that it had a balcony, but this was not a functional facility. The bedside tables were too small and the space in the en-suite only just adequate. The free wifi was particularly poor, it was not practical to download any large files; streaming experienced buffering. For us, this accommodation would not have been suitable for a longer stay.

Ok for a weekend

The property was in a great location and the staff were great and friendly. They spoke English which helped a lot. There was an elevator for the luggage. Shower pressure was good and bed was soft but comfortable. The room had good black out curtains. Rooms were clean and neighborhood was quiet and we could sleep with windows open

We stayed in room 601. The room was not as advertised in the pictures and was really very small for two people (bed basically touched top and bottom of the room ie: whole width of room). The pillows are terrible as they are the square continental pillows not standard pillows making it extremely uncomfortable. The water temperature in the shower was not consistent and changed between hot and cold constantly. The room really needed a proper paint job as it looked like water had leaked in the room. Finally rooms are not sound proof at all and we could hear everything from our neighbors

Ok for short stays

The location is nice and it is easy to walk around as well as underground stations. The room is as it is described, quite small but for one or two days is ok.

Great stay - gorgeous room

Reception was 24 hours. Room was beautiful with the artwork. Bed was super comfy. Room was small but not a problem we were out all day anyway. Bathroom was clean and shower really good 👍

We didn't want to use the lift, we used the spiral staircase. Tested our leg muscles...!

Good place if you are travelling

The hotel is well-located. The rooms are cleaned daily and the breakfast is good. The neighbourhood is quiet and not very touristy.

The room was small and the bathroom too. This wasn’t a big issue for us but for some it might be. The cards for the room tend to stop working.

Good position, 200 yards from metro, various shops and restaurants around. Bed was comfortable.

Wonderful stay, would recommend it to all

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of a lively neighborhood with endless places to eat. Our top-floor corner room was slightly larger than some and very clean. (I would suggest modifying the drapery hooks so they don’t pop off the rods.) Some noise from the street of course. A nice basic breakfast with fresh bread from across the street. The bedding is lovely and the mattress quite comfortable. Very friendly staff. (Of course the elevator is small but it works well.)

Good location, lots of eating options and micro brewery bar down the road. Close to the metro station. Comfortable bed.

The room was tiny, very difficult to get around the bed. The toilet was enclosed in a tiny area, larger people will struggle. Difficult to get in the shower due to sink blocking some of the entrance. Tiny shower but plenty of hot water. We weren’t bothered by noise as we had a double door but the room next door told me they had noise all night from the lift and corridor. Tiny lift and the stairs have narrow treads on the spiral design.

the location was perfect, very easy to reach the main touristy areas via public transportation or walking (depending on the willingness to walk a bit) and away from the overly crowded tourist "traps" close to the main attractions. Great food spots nearby.

Small rooms, but would come again

Very clean rooms, floor to ceiling windows with Parisian street views. Clean bathroom and shower. Luggage room available, staff very friendly and keen to help. Good English spoken by all staff, which was useful as my French is appalling.

Had agreed an early check in between 10-11 but unfortunately the room wasn't ready until past 1pm. The luggage room helped with this though. Despite upgrading to Queen rooms, the rooms are very small. You would get more space in a chain hotel standard room. However, this is more of a boutique hotel room, so maybe not a fair comparison.

Lovely bed and cushions, effective airco, excellent location and very friendly staff, I felt very welcome and it was a great choice to get away from the buzz of the city and the mugginess of the summer, sleeping in a cool and quiet room

The Airco tends to grumble a bit, and the shower could be upgraded. It's an old building, with little sound isolation so you might hear people in the adjacent rooms, but I was lucky that I only figured it out at 10am! :))

Excellent 2-night stay in a calm suburb of Paris.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty generous for 12euro pp, with fresh pastries and baguettes from the boulangerie across the road. Great coffee, selection of juices, yoghurt, cereals - better than most continental breakfasts! Rooms were small (usual for Paris) but clean and comfortable, with juliet balcony and airconditioning. Soundproofing was excellent - though on the first floor and along a bus route, there is little to no noise when the windows are closed. Bastille is our preferred location, less touristy, with nice cafes just a short walk away. Short walk to metro line. Try Pause Cafe and Bistro du Peintre a short walk away - for sipping champagne and watching people.

Served Our Needs

Location was convenient. Very good air-con given the +30c temperatures being experienced in Paris when we visited.

The elevator reflected the conversion of the property to a hotel. It was only just possible to squeeze in two people and one large suitcase. We needed it though being on the 5th floor and of advanced years.

Overall, Nice and pleasant stay. Close to metro station. Staff was really nice and helpful. Very kind people. The room was small but comfortable for one person. Comfy bed. The washroom was well maintained, clean and modern. Free water bottles and coffee in the room. Lots of nice restaurant and pubs nearby. Easy to access. Overall worth a stay for couple of nights.

Great value, simple and very well-located place to stay if you want a basic base

The front desk was very welcoming and there was always someone available if you needed help. The wifi was free and easy to log on to. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location was fantastic - a five minute walk from two metro stations - with plenty of lively restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. You could walk to Bastille and the Marais and there's a lovely patisserie at the end of the road. We had pastries from there every morning, so I can't speak to the breakfast.

The room is small and basic but we were out exploring the city the whole time, so that suited us perfectly. It's no-frills but comfortable and friendly. There isn't much space to put a suitcase, so pack light.

1 night in Paris. Good Area and Reasonably priced.

A good sized room looked exactly like advertised. In a nice area with bars and amenities close by.

The baggage room was not the best, we didn’t feel like it was particularly safe to leave our cases there at the front door and it looked like a storage cupboard for staff/cleaners.
