Very comfortable food was amazing ans staff were so helpful especially the bar staff in the evening really pleasant
Unfortunately having to pay for parking was Unfortunate for such a lovely hotel and staff for 2 nights €26 for parking, was thinking of spending a few days there but now probably not as would be looking at nearly €50 parking,a big pity as this was the only let down regarding my stay

Reception area was lovely and bar looked nice
5 minute walk to the heart of the local Irish bars
We were upgraded from a double superior to a kingsize sky light view room, we were told it was lovely and had a view of the river, we couldn’t look out unless we stood on a chair, when we looked it was a stone wall no river view, the moss was growing on the outside of the window, noisy very noisy all night long with the sound of traffic, the room was small, the double doors to the bathroom had a 4/5 mil gap so I could see my husband on the toilet. The main door to the bedroom must of been made from cardboard, I could hear every word from anyone passing by. The car park is awful if you have a big car. The breakfast, everyone was squashed into the one area, my table was beside the curtain, it was so tight to the wall the net curtain was half leaning into my table, we were not welcomed we were given a table and that’s it, not asked if we’d been before, not told to help yourself just directed to the table and that’s was it. The bed was comfortable and pillows were comfortable and that was it, I wouldn’t recommend it if you wanted a cosy and quiet hotel. I wouldn’t stay in it again
