Appart'City

Appart'City are effectively like student accommodation. There is a good sized room with a desk, small table and a couple of chairs. There is a separate cooking area, which was very good, with the toilet and shower off this. We specifically picked it as it was an 8 min walk to the 'Ile des machines'. The secure covered parking, €11, was good and linked to the apartments. The staff were very accommodating letting us into our room early. (we had informed them in advance.) We paid €9 for a buffet breakfast which was very good value. Should you need it there is a laundry room too.

2 bedside tables, as opposed to 1, would have been useful and some signs directing you to reception or the breakfast room. (Room numbers were signed.)

Lots of space, great reception staff and location. Secure parking under the hotel. 5 minute walk to the Machines de l'Ile

The truckle bed (sofa bed with a slide out second bed) had very squeaky springs

Perfect location

Location was perfect. Just a short walk across the bridge for Les Machines de l’Isle, and fifteen minutes into the center. Parked the car in the garage for a nominal fee. Room was comfortable. We didn’t sample breakfast as we chose to go to one of the nearby cafes.

The only negative comments I have are that it was difficult to find, had to drive down a narrow alley, and the surroundings are none too salubrious.

Location was perfect, tram line outside. Park across the bridge. Shops and restaurants on your doorstep.

room was clean bed was clean kitchen was small but had enough staff for 1-2 people it was close to tram station

the room was too small outside of the building was not a good view for the first time seeing the hotel! we arrived at 2pm, even though the conference website introduce this hotel to be booked, they did not allow us to go to the room and said the check in time is at 4! we preferred to pay more but check in at 2 pm!

Open wires and electricity hazard that blew the fuses. Super rude night staff when asked to help who threatened to leave us in complete darkness. Refusal to respond to complaint emails.

I could get ,not far off from the railway station. The rate of the rent seems to have gone up despite the fact I've asked for a hotel (02 star)

The street (it's an impasse) was not shown on the map in town ,on alighting from the tram,which was nearby (neither via google ),--helped by a passer-by as he knew the place. My phone didn't work via "free" despite the G.O sufficient. the town has to be alerted to put this impasse on their roadmap(when all people concerned discuss often). I've informed at the desk to repair the door of the cupboard above the sink.

Comfortable night in a budget option close to the tourist attractions.

The room was good for a family travelling on the cheap. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a small kitchen area. Our teens had the nested twin beds/sofa bed, and my husband and I were up in the loft in a queen-sized bed. The location was very close walking distance to the Island of the Machines, as well as the center of the city. We were there one night. In the time we were there in August, parking on the street was free, so we ended up cancelling the parking we’d reserved.

It was initially difficult to find the entrance, and there were some stairs to navigate before arriving at the elevator. (Not really a problem.) The property is a little tired, but clean and comfortable.

Having parking available was great! The parking garage was cool and secure. The rooms were large and we got two rooms close together as requested. The location was close to everything, so once we parked we were able to walk. Thank you for the great stay!
