At least the restaurant in process.
Hopefully the accommodation next.
No food or drink available due only refurbishment.

Room was clean
Bar and restaurant closed. Only found out that morning our friend wasn’t informed at all. Considering our friend had breakfast included in her price and not once was told she wouldn’t be getting it was bad. Staff not that helpful

Great shower. Friendly staff
Restaurant (hungry horse) closed for refurbishment. No mention of this when booking. White VW camper van parked outside window.. exhaust fumes from campervan filling room due to window not being able to close. Rooms are clean but dated.

The room was reasonable and was value for money. Would have liked an alternative to a duvet - way too warm - so a very poor night's sleep, Breakfast adequate but only offered 'full english' - no variation (i dislike beans
Beans with breakfast. Duvet. Hungry Horse very tired and rather tatty (but i understand is now being refurbished)

The room and the bed were comfortable, I only had breakfast on one occasion and it was tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite. Issues were resolved straight away. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family
There was only one issue the hairdryer in room 2 didn’t get warm

It's quite tired and in need of refurbishment

Staff excellent and very clean
This is the noisiest hotel I have ever slept in. I had to stop due to the snow but even the reduced traffic on the road below woke me multiple times. I was convinced a window must be open.

The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful
Rooms could do with a serious refresh. Upon checking in we felt a draught and could hear lots of noise from the car park, I checked to see if the window was open. It was closed but there was a small gap in the frame, my partner had to go outside and push the windows back into its frame to seal it! Whilst the bedding was clean, unfortunately the bathroom was disappointing as there was thick black mould on the sealant and mould on the ceiling

Good location with lots of nearby amenities. Good value and great breakfast. Was very comfortable.
Very dated and needs renovation. Black mould around windows, on net curtain and ceiling. Was clean though.

Great facilities. Clean and comfortable with everything that was needed. Friendly staff. Whether the next one will be.
The only thing was that it would be nice for hot chocolate sachets to be included in the tea/coffee tray.

Mould in bathroom, mould around window, radiator not working, tired furniture, small breakfast
8.0 / 10.0
The room was suitable for our needs and the restaurant attached was perfect after a long day out to just get back and not have to go out again for dinner. Could just walk downstairs, order and relax.
The pull out bed for the kids was very uncomfortable.

Not a lot to like.
Hard to find. Drab ill lit exterior with poor signage.
Hard to register arrival. Reception was not staffed. 1st call to them was ignored. 2nd attempt was successful. Friendly person got me the key etc. Reception area is dull and careworn. The room was clean but old. Mattress was saggy and old. Bathroom sealant was black in places and fittings in it were hanging loose. It was a totally depressing experience. I have stayed in far more attractive chain hotels that are much better value at the same price or cheaper. On departure a morose and somewhat scruffy young man could not manage eye contact, a greeting or farewell.

The very lovely Rebecca who is the reception girl, always greeted you with a smile. The Weathervane is a lovely little home away from home for us. Comfortable beds and lovely rooms.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
The bedroom smelt damp and we found black mould on the window frame and the roof of the bathroom. The hotel rooms are in dire need of a refresh.

Very well furnished room, and the bathroom was great - shower was nice and hot. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good - we did the Continental option. Usual food options, but no rush. Staff were great, very helpful.
One tiny thing - we were out very late one night, and came back about 01.00 in the morning. We had a code to get in, but the door had been bolted. Thankfully there was a member of staff around to let us in, but we'd not expected to have to call them.

Loved the staff, they were amazing. Friendly and helpful, couldn't fault any of them.
The location was handy for stopping overnight on our way north on the M6.
The beds were comfy and clean, towels were plentiful and clean too.
The room was mostly clean and well stocked for hot drinks.
The breakfast was great, well organised and the cooked food was delicious. There was a good choice for continental food too.
The shower was great, really strong water pressure.
There was mould around the bath and window.

This is our home away from home when visiting Caverswall Cemetery. Comfy beds, attentive staff, great food, easy location. Thank you again for having us.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for our specific need on that night
Room was very hot with no secure ventilation - we were in a ground floor room with a broken safety restraint on the window. The bathroom ceiling had black mould growing on it. The food was not of great quality
