London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, BW Signature Collection

The bed was very comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of choices. The reception and bar/restaurant staff provided excellent and efficient customer service throughout our stay. We did experience an issue with a blocked sink in our room, but maintenance attended promptly and made every effort to resolve it.

Unfortunately, the sink issue was not fully resolved, as the water continued to drain very slowly. In addition, we were unable to get hot water for our shower. Although this was reported, it remained unresolved, and we had to take cold showers. Our room was also very hot due to the warm weather. Although a cooling system was provided, it did not keep the room cool and it was uncomfortable. We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding anniversary celebration, where complimentary parking was provided for guests. It would have been helpful if reception staff had informed us of this, as we paid for overnight parking unnecessarily.

Needs updating as I forget my plug for my charger and had to get it sent it a cab because you haven’t updated the charger points it’s still using the old usb

The rooms were very spacious and clean.

No air conditioning let the hotel down massively . Also having to pay £10 car parking each day was a liberty

Decent enough room but unfortunately quite a from reception and too near the lift. View was of overgrown weeds so not the best. Only stayed overnight for a local wedding so was adequate. Decent vegetarian sausages at breakfast and pleasant staff.

Noise early morning because of lift activity. Awful view from room 110. Breakfast was barely lukewarm. We asked for fresh beans and they arrived cold too. Out of my whole breakfast the only thing hot was the mushrooms. I do not think our stay was worth the £189 price tag, defo not value for money.
