Good staff and varied breakfast. The spoons were right next to the cereal - other hotels could learn from this.
Old swirl- pattern carpet in reception and at the top of the staircase. Made the reception look rather tired.

The breakfast hours were very good and the breakfast menu provided a good range of choices. Good car parking with ample spaces, and the ability to drop luggage off before parking is a good feature.
Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.
Hot water in our room (437) was plentiful and good pressure, possibly provided by an undersink pump, but the cold water pressure was extremely low.
This meant that the shower was virtually unusable, being either scalding or low pressure cold. Not the best part of the stay.

Staff friendly and helpful
The bed was very uncomfortable and did not have a good night sleep. The bedroom and hotel need some attention. Breakfast was nice, however not very hot.
