Really enjoyed my stay, it was perfect for my intentions and the location was perfect

A super hotel, in a good location , which we will definitely use again.

Our room was excellent, large, very clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast was first class - buffet style and everything there that you could possible want. We had booked to go to the theatre, so the location was perfect, just a few yards from the hotel. Our stay was in December and the hotel was very tastefully decorated with Christmas decorations which just added to the general feel and warmth that the hotel exuded.

We didn't eat at the hotel due to the price of the meals. Even the price of snacks was a lot more than for the same thing in a local eatery. It was raining heavily whilst we were there and one observations, when looking out of our bedroom window, was that the gutters were full of weeds and the rain was overflowing down the roof. The inside of the hotel was immaculate, however the windows and sills looking outside from our bedroom (404) were rotten.. This did not distract from our visit, which was great, but is just an observation.

We had both lunch and breakfast and could no t fault the hotel. Staff and atmosphere were excellent as was communication with the hotel.

We had a sleepless night ,the bedroom was hot beyond belief and although there was a fan in the room this was not conducive to sleep. We took the covers off the bed and lay on the bed to try to sleep but managed only to cat nap.

A comfortable stay at a grand hotel situated in an excellent location with good parking.

The location could not have been better being within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, Malvern Theatres, the Abbey and walking trails up to the Hills. Our room was very comfortable and clean.

Historic building in the centre of the town, large comfortable room , helpful staff and good choice at breakfast. Generally felt luxurious and traditional, great location. Plenty of parking.

The Abbey is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel, I have stayed here several times.

It's the modern world with prices moving with demand but this stay was the most expensive it has ever been. Due to commitments in the area I needed to travel but will check pricing next time. There is no loyalty to loyal customers.

Denis on reception was very welcoming and took his time to annotate a map with nearby points of interest. The location is excellent for visiting Malvern and walking. Hotel is impressive in size, friendly staff and ambience.

The delivery/ food/ laundry or whatever activity takes place outside the hotel in the morning was very loud.

Breakfast very average, would have been nice to have fresh fruit rather than seeing previously frozen fruit dispensed from a container.

Being told when I booked that I hadn't paid enough even though I had followed instructions during the booking process. Then being treated as though I was trying to avoid paying the right price when all I was doing was expecting to have what I thought I'd paid for.

Beautiful building; ideal position in town, although uphill from the railway station, with lovely views from back windows.

My husband was kept awake by doors banging as guests who were staying up later said their goodbyes and allowed bedroom doors to swing shut. Enjoyed breakfast in busy dining room: porridge was delicious.

The location is excellent with good car parking.

The hotel is 'tired'. I chose it because I stayed frequently when travelling on business a decade ago. The rooms badly need refurbishment and the self service breakfast doesn't compare to the individually cooked food we experienced in other less expensive hotels during the week.

The location was excellent; friendly, welcoming, very helpful and obliging staff; room with a view; clean and comfortable. The Reception staff kindly allowed us to leave our campervan in the hotel car park after we’d checked out, for an hour or two which was much appreciated. Thank you.

The self-service breakfast was disappointing. Sorry. One of the staff kindly agreed to have a poached egg cooked for me as the scrambled egg was hard, had blue colouring (?) and the fried eggs looked greasy. The mushrooms didn’t taste fresh - more likely tinned. The poached egg was freshly cooked (which I appreciated) but had little flavour and the yolk was pale yellow. The milk in the hot drinks machine tasted as if it was UHT (I had chosen a latte) and the coffee had no flavour, but there was fresh milk for those drinking tea or americano coffee. It was such a shame because we were looking forward to our Sunday breakfast.
