    After visiting Punta Cana we had a 24 hour layover in San Juan. We stayed at the Sonesta overnight and it was great! At check in we were upgraded to an ocean view room.

    The Royal Sonesta has done an impressive job with their renovations. The staff as always are a delight and make our time there a blast. The pool/beach area was a joy to spend a few days in. The gym was actually surprisingly efficient, I will say for the amount of patrons I saw working out, I think there’s definitely room for expansion or a sponsorship with a fitness company or gym to renovate and bring more to the facility and spa. Working out with ocean views is rare and there’s opportunity to bring that experience to more visitors
