A very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in a beautiful recently refurbished suite room with a balcony view of the lake. Exceptionally comfy bed. Everything to a high quality. The buffet breakfast in Villa Pioppi a 2 minute walk away was delicious with a great range of options and in lovely historic lakesid surroundings. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is also good - historic centre about a 20 minute walk A very enjoyable stay. Great value for money.

I wish we could have stayed longer! :)

Breakfast was excellent - great selection. Best breakfast on our trip in Italy. Our room was on the top floor had great views. Room was cleaned to a high standard - the bathroom looks recently refurbished so very clean! Receptionist was lovely actually all of them were helpful and friendly

Location is great, walking distance to all of Sirmione (which is so lovely!) and the room was really big. The hotel has a partnership with another hotel for breakfast and parking and so breakfast has an amazing view! Staff was also really nice.

The bathroom was a little old and the spring bed not so nice - but that was the same in all 4 hotels I stayed in this trip in Italy so not a particular problem with this one.

Okay for a one night stay...

The location is excellent though did need to check in and park in another hotel and walk over. The apartment is nice and lake view nice enough.

Communication was poor, I sent a message to ask if there's anything particular we needed to do with parking but no reply. We parked at the hotel indicated in their generic message and went for a walk. On return we went to the hotel where they told us we had to check in elsewhere, annoying on a good day but it was pouring with rain, just get the facilities to check in on site. Next the apartment, on first inspection it is cosy with a large balcony and generally clean. On second look, most of the door handles were missing their tops making it difficult to open them and with so many cupboards, there was not one utensil or crockery in sight. The kitchen itself had a hob but no pans, no plates, no cutlery, no mugs, not even a water glass. Nothing. Not even in the bathroom when we went to look in hope. Absolute waste of space. Not to mention the horrible stairs carpet. I accept the price was okay for the location but don't have a kitchen area that can't be used or at least have a sign saying available on request or something. Glad we only booked it for one night.

The staff were very extremely helpful and friendly. It really made our stay memorable. We would definitely return 😊 The rooms were airy and spacious with good air conditioning. The location was between the old town and new town, with shuttle bus right outside the door.

great host, very helpful (he helped us with reservation in another hotel!) - clean swimming pool - elevator - nice minishop with cold drinks/ coffee/ basic food for breakfast - brand new bathroom - air condition - good parking place - towels included in price - you can walk to Sirimone center or take a city bus

hotel has potential but it definitely should be renovated, the carpet on the stairs is a little disgusting - bathroom was renovated but there were a moldy shower curtain - a broken doorknob in a kitchen drawer - no daily cleaning - no kettle in room - it's not related to the hotel, just the area, there is a hotel and swimming pool construction in the neighborhood and one day we were woken up by noise at 7am, the other days it was quiet - the balcon was not very clean (mayby because the construction behing the fence)

Sunshine in October!

The property was in an ideal location, with views to the front and back of the lake. We were upgraded to a suite and it was just so fantastic. The lady who runs Alexandra Stay was so friendly and helped us with anything we needed. The room was spotless and had a wonderful balcony, where we sat to watch the sunrise, bliss!! We were very lucky with the weather and would love to come back again.

There were no negatives.

View of the pool and lake was magical. Had all appliances that you would need for a short stay. Staff were absolutely amazing.

The perfect location for a memorable holiday in a beautiful location.

We loved the location especially, a nice walk to the old town of Sirmione . A bus stop was outside around the corner. You had views off both sides of the lake and a small but very convenient private beach and small pool which wasn’t busy. The owner was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to be of assistance. There was a very handy room complete with tea/coffee facilities, a fridge of beverage from milk to beer, lots of snacks and pasta, lunches etc. The apartment was lovely, a large living area with a lovely balcony off it. While the bed felt hard we actually slept fine . A nice sized kitchen had everything you would need. It was a perfect location for getting to Peschiera and also for getting a boat tour around some of the towns on the lake.10-20 minute walk to cafes/ restaurants both directions.

I would’ve liked a full length mirror in a better part of the room( not on inside of press door).

Location is perfect, very near at the old town of Sirmione which is very interesting to visit at. We were at 3rd floor with 2 bedrooms and enough space for 3 persons.. Also a big swimming pool and very nice host as well as the staff. I would highly recommend this property.

Pleasant

The location was very good the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The rooms were a good size, well laid out and very clean. Good balcony space and a nice view of the lake. Lovely pool area.

The air conditioning failed on our second day and was not repaired for the remainder of the week. It seemed to be a very old system. They did offer us another 1 room apartment for the last night of our stay and the air conditioning was working well in this room which made it much more confortable. The wifi even though free was poor and kept dropping depending where you were in the room. There was some construction work going on directly at the back of the building which made it very noisy earlier in our stay.

Enjoyable self catering in a large apartment with a great pool.

The apartment (one bed) was extremely spacious, huge and clean. The pool is super and well maintained. We found the few staff helpful and pleasant. It's about 2km from Sirmione, but a pleasant walk/cycle there. There is a guest car park which is valuable. It was quiet and the lovely private deck at the lake provided fantastic opportunity for swimming and sunsets.

There is no restaurant or food/room service. There is a small honesty shop which was handy for essentials. Although the apartment was very large and comfortable the decor is a little dated and could do with refreshing. The kitchen was not well equipped with only a few pieces of cutlery, utensils, glasses etc., a 2 ring hob. There is no cleaning service just daily refuse removal.

Ok for two nights near Sirmione

Big bed and well equipped kitchenette. Villa Pioppi next door - reasonable food with phantastic Sunset view. Only a short walk to Sirmione city center. Good Parking options.

Outdated equipment, old and battered furniture, the whole place is past it's prime. Most sunbeds at the lake were damaged. Guests and staff didn't bother to adhere to the corona safety rules.

Tranquillità e gentilezza.

Staff gentile e disponibile, camera funzionale, con una vista bellissima ed una posizione ottima per arrivare al centro. La zona è molto tranquilla e con una bella passeggiata. Colazione presso villa Pioppi varia ed a buffet con parcheggio comodo.

Sicuramente le camere hanno bisogno di un restyling ed è un peccato non poter usufruire della cucina. In bagno mancano appendini per gli asciugamani e le mensole nella doccia. Ad ogni modo c'è tutto quello che serve.

L'unica pecca dover uscire all'aperto per recarsi a fare colazione nella location da cui fanno il check in che si trova a circa 200 metri. Il riscaldamento non funzionava molto bene e c'era un po' freddo in stanza.
