Great location and helpful staff, but the junior suite didn't match the high rate.

Perfect location with very helpful staff, especially Ms. Bibi who was extraordinary.

Excellent, even though it has changed so radically. We would be happy to come again.

Stayed here back in 2011 and loved it then. It has changed a lot, but still an excellent hotel. The only difference was that last time we were tempted to have an evening meal which was a memorable occasion in a top class restaurant. It now appears much more relaxed and has a completely different vibe, so we decided against it. Breakfast was great, so much choice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location and amazing stay

Michel a staff who did not know customer service 101 and started arguing on our booking , however Lola a very smart and kind staff who helped us changing the booking and escorted us till she was sure that we were comfortable. Hot breakfast items weren't hot Restaurant staff were rude and too busy with non customer facing tasks to deal with customer requests The room was small, tired looking, with grubby net curtains, chipped furniture and soiled areas of carpet - I paid £2.2k for 3 nights.......high price for low standards and service I had emailed the hotel ahead of my arrival as we were there as a 50th birthday present for my husband - I asked in my email if there was anything the hotel could do to acknowldge the special ocassion and they sent me a price list of items I could order - I was in the 'best' room in the hotel, spending alot of money and not even a welcome complimentary drink As my previous point states we were there for a birthday gift for my husband - the staff member who booked us in did not think to ask who had paid for the trip and would it be ok to disclose prices, and automatically assumed my husband had and told him what I was paying for his birthday present.....this then turned into an uncomfortable exchange between my hsuband and I on how much I'd spent on a hotel for 3 nights!

We stayed at this hotel when it first opened. It was amazing, clean, comfortable and well trained professional staff. However, everything went downhill in recent years. This time, when we entered the lobby of the hotel, it already felt dated, only one lift is working, corridor is dark, carpet looks faded and the overall place felt kooky and shabby, especially in the corridors leading to our rooms. When we entered our hotel room, we saw fingerprints and the minibar fridge. The room has an extremely pungeant smell to it as well as it being unclean (after removing the bottles of drinks in the fridge, we found the bottom of the fridge is sticky and with many stains.When we first came to Renaissance many years ago, the amenities for theirs guests were a luxury brand , yet the soaps/shampoos that were now provided are unknown brands. the daily clean was careless, the sink has visible stain but has not been wiped off…. The room interior like everywhere else in the hotel is dated, worn out… this is all relative to 5-star-hotel standard, what we are experiencing is barely 4 star. Not worth the room rates at all.

Overall, the stay was satisfied.

Location is great - 300 meters from the Arc of Triumph and walking distance to two Metro station and RER station, which makes it very convenient to travel to different part of Paris. Room is big and the bed is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and they refill the supplements very frequently - water, tower, hotel slippers and etc. During my stay, I never worry about being lack of these. The breakfast is also good - wide variety and good quality.

The only setback for this hotel is its elevator - the hotel has more than 7 floors and there are only two elevators for both staff and guest, the pain part is that one out of two is under decoration/maintainance so there's only one elevator available for both guest and staff. Consequently, during some peak traffic time like breakfast and checkout, we have to wait long time to get into the elevator since sometimes it's full. Although it's a bit not acceptable but I would say this is understandable, the hotel locates in center Paris and the buildings here have limited allowance to do reconstruction/redecoration.

Good location of the hotel. Clean rooms, good bed, excellent room facilities. Good breakfasts. The hotel has an underground garage.

The hotel had one elevator on 9 or 10 floors. The waiting time for the elevator is 5-10 minutes. Most of the time the elevator is busy with staff problems, the staff carries beds, linen, clothes. The staff was terrible. All requests are processed very slowly. I got the impression that I was begging the staff for something: to bring coffee in a restaurant, to bring glasses for breakfast. This is not acceptable behavior of staff in any hotel, especially in a 5 * hotel

The right choice for the Arc de Triomphe street, and very close to the Champs Elysees

From my point of view, everything in the hotel was good. Location: on the same street as the Arc de Triomphe, very close to the Champs Elysees, and close to many coffee shops and some well-known restaurants. Cleanliness: the rooms are clean and room service is available around the clock. The staff: always welcoming the guests and very helpful. Buffet: As for the breakfast buffet, it is not up to the excellent, but it is generally good and meets the needs.
