We booked the connecting family rooms overlooking the Bund which was clean and comfortable with great views of the Huang Pu river, and they even provided extra bed for free. The house keeping team works efficiently and even setup the kids bedroom with the tiger theme. The buffet breakfast range is extensive to cater for all tastes, and even includes barista made coffee to order.
Upon check out, we were told unable to use the points on our first day’s buffet dinner and that cannot be claimed in retrospect. The manager has yet to assess and provide a response.

The best service we could have asked for. We did a layover in Shanghai and stayed at the Shangri La as a family of 3. The reception gifted my daughter a soft toy on arrival and upgraded our room to the most magnificent view. We ordered room service because the view was so good and the food was absolutely divine. Amazing quality. Such a perfect stay we are already planning a trip back for longer.
