About this house rental
Calliope is a worm, cozy, hospitable stone-house located in the coastal region of Kiparissos. It is a part of a double residence, the core of which was built in the late 19th century. The residences where recently renovated and decoupled with respect to the local traditional architecture.
The house functions on two different levels and composed of 3 bedrooms, a front room with an office, a sofa bed and a wood stove, an open plan kitchen with a dining room and a living room. In the living room there is a fireplace. The house also has two toilets and a bathroom.
The space is decorated with fabrics and curtains idiosyncratic lighting and handmade furniture.
The property has two major sundecks facing both the sea and the nearby mountains, which are full of sage, oregano and thyme.
The location is quiet, enchanting and ideal for natural exploration and architectural expeditions. There are many sightseeings and archeological regions in Mani Peninsula.
At around 130 meters from the building lies the graphic cove of Kiparissos, Aghios Nikolaos. The fantastic beach of Almyros which is covered in smooth stones and has crystal turquoise waters, is only 400 meters away from the house. There are many wonderful sandy beaches and coves accessible by car and at a small distance from the house.

Calliope is the most beautiful, best equipped, and cleanest house we have ever been to. With it's various verandas it is perfect for stormy and rainy as well as for sunny and hot Mani days. The location is ideal for hiking and swimming, and many interesting sites and beautiful small villages within reach. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome, and with true philoxenia took very good care of us, giving kind and helpful advice were needed and many useful informations in due time. Calliope is the very best choice for Mani holidays.

The house is beautiful, with lots of seating areas, good sized bedrooms and a lovely garden and terraces. These combine great views of the sea and mountains, with sheltered places to eat and cook outside. The area of the Mani the house is in is dramatic and surprising, and Kiparissos is a great base to explore it all. Last but not least there are two delightful beaches within 5 minutes walk, both often deserted and with lovely clear water. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful family house, with 3 bedrooms very Nicely made (a 4th place is possible to sleep) and all are air conditionned equiped. The house is very Well conceived, so that all the
Terraces / out spaces are so that you are always going to find a place with shadow and wind…
You are 3 minutes from the beach (I mean 3 RÉAL minutes by foot,), with a sweet little path between olive trees and a beautiful stonewall…We were often alone on this beach in the middle of the summer holidays!
A stunning walk or running way with beautiful views just coming left out of the house which leads you to another beautiful beach.
Impossible to not talk about our guests, so adorables, caring and who leaved us beautiful local products : tomatoes (local tomatoes, WoW… not the one you know…), cucumbers, honey, marmelade, wine, ouzo, fresh water, fresh origano,…. I Know I Forget a lot, and I take the opportunity to thank them so Much…

Das Haus mit Inventar entspricht genau der Ausschreibung. Zusätzlich hat Eleni noch ein Infobuch zusammengestellt. Darin sind die Strände in Laufdistanz sowie viele anderen Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten erwähnt.
Zudem hat sie uns Brot, Käse, Aufschnitt, Früchte und Gemüse, Honig, Oel und Wein bereitgestellt. Mega grosszügig!
Wir waren zu viert und hatten also genug Platz. Das eine Zimmer (Büro) würde ich nicht unbedingt zum Schlafen empfehlen. Es ist ein 'Durchgangszimmer'. Die restlichen Zimmer (Doppelbetten) hatten eine Klimaanlage; sehr angenehm anfangs August. Auf den drei Terassen haben wir je nach Sonnenstand viele Stunden verbracht.
Alles in allem hatten wir sehr erholsame, schöne Ferien.
