Glamorous and full of atmosphere. Despite huge bedroom and shared spaces it was warm and comfortable. The team is outstanding. Friendly but discreet and always willing to assist and provide advice on local attractions. I loved it
There’s not much to take issue with! The food doesn’t quite keep up with the accommodation and hospitality but we were there just after the hotel reopened in early Spring. As it was low season, dogs were allowed in the hotel. This would have been a big problem if we’d been there with our children. The hotel manager did explain that the hotel has kennels and they sound as comfortable as the guest accommodation!

Location & Nice old building.
Lovely polite young staff.
The toilet in my room hadn’t been cleaned.
No shower cap & possibly would have wanted individual soap, cream etc.
The food was ok but I did arrive end of service.
I would have like a tyre pump. Many rural hotels often have them.
