Great location and comfy beds. Staff were excellent

Would suggest that the rooms should include a fridge as standard. The lighting in the room also wasn’t the best and made it difficult to do my make up. Also ridiculous that the water in the room was charged for unless you were a Hilton member

Excellent stay, just needs the breakfast buffet/kitchen sorting out.

My wife told bar staff that her hot chocolate nightcap was the best she’s ever had. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The down side is that all the plates in the hot food section were cold and, worse still, most of the food was lukewarm or stone cold, which was very disappointing.

A wonderful stay with exceptional service and thoughtful touches throughout.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the Hilton staff for being so welcoming and accommodating for my daughter’s 9th birthday. I planned a mum-and-daughter pamper night for her and she had the best time! The view was unreal, and we were so touched by the beautifully made birthday cake and card that were left for her, it really made her feel so special. We truly appreciated the extra effort and will definitely be coming back. Thank you again!

Arrived early pre check in time, told room not available which is expected but then told could have a room at £15 per hour up to 3pm. If a room available then why not just let customer have it !

Great choice for location and value

excellent location, ideal for shopping in the main shopping centre and the docks smaller shops, literally minutes walk to everywhere. 10 minute walk through the city centre from the train station, there is a desert shop literally 3 minutes from the front door, lovely bar area that was comfortable to relax in, staff were very helpful and polite, nice warm powerful shower

the room was a little cold, i had to phone down to reception to make it warmer, and even then it still felt cold (i am usually colder than most people)

There was a Bar Manager called( PHIL ) Who was very Rude & Disrespectful to our Group & my Father who is 75 years old.. We came into the Hotel Lobby with a Coffee from outside coffee Truck with some Pastries.. He was very rude & Disrespectful the way he spoke to us & my Father.. Told us to get outa the Hotel & take the coffee out also we asked were did it say that we can’t bring in a Coffee & Bun & he said this is my Bar & it’s Not My Coffee so Therefore get Out.. We Spent over £350 on Food & Drink the Day Before in Hotel & £500 for Hotel stay that’s £850 Total spent & to be Treated like that was a Disgrace.. The Front of House Desk Staff were Very Nice & Friendly also Helpful..

I really think that coat hangers in the alcove inside the room at door area would be very practical. There was nowhere to hang your wet coat after a rainy day. This area could be ideal for hangers and would make a big difference..

disappointed overall could have been a lovely STAY

Had to witness an argument in the bar with a couple who were not staying at the hotel, I was so bothered that 2 young irls were behind the bar on their own that I went to check if they were ok (this is not to say they didn't handle things because they were polite all along even when foul language was being hurled at them) I then felt it necessary to go to reception as things were not calming down to report the incident no security whatsoever. I thought this was disgraceful that they were left to deal with things and I was not impressed at all with the lack of back up they had.

Comfy bed and good breakfast but hotel becoming dated and more staff needed.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Service in the restaurant area for afternoon tea was poor. The room was very noisy at night time and I was kept awake by loud music from outside the hotel. The toilet paper in the hotel room was of a poor quality.

Location was good

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While the room appeared clean overall, the corner of my bed was moldy and there was a terrible smell in the room. It seemed like the ventilation system wasn't functioning properly, as the air felt stale and unpleasant. Additionally, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. For £360 for just two nights, I honestly expected a much higher standard from a Hilton property. Very disappointing.

Clean and looked lovely

Doesn’t keep out the outside noise. Mambo number 5 at midnight was not expected as I thought with it being the Hilton it would be sound proof. Noise of the fan was very loud. Room should have had a fridge but didn’t.
