Lovely hotel, fantastic interior design from the 1800's, stunning restaurant. This place is just a marvel. Rooms and beds were great and staff was wonderful.
Location is literally straight in the middle of Sibiu, hard to miss, hard to find anything better.
Breakfast was exceptional. Before you leave don't forget to take a photo of the inside arch before the reception that shows the hotel was originally built in 1555 :)

Location is excellent. Exterior of hotel is beautiful. Staff were generally helpful.
- Ancient and very noisy portable air conditioning - we had to turn it off to sleep so it was far too hot!
- Breakfast “hot items”were cold.
- Staff assigned to outside restaurant were absent for more than 10 minutes when I wanted to pay a bill.
- Gym was the worst that I’ve ever seen in a hotel - in a smelly downstairs room with one old treadmill that was out of order.
Overall it’s a nice building but needs money spent to bring it up to standard.
