This beautiful old hotel is right in the heart of the old town. We loved the situation, the staff, our room, the free parking and the beautiful breakfast. Absolutely no problems at all.

We really enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a spa, it was a great way to relax. The location was also a big plus, very central and convenient. We also appreciated the staff’s promptness in offering us a room swap when our power stopped working.

Oh boy, where do I start... First of all, the cleanliness. It was not clean at all, and I honestly don’t understand the reviews saying otherwise. In both rooms we stayed in, there were hairs in the bathtub, and the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Then there was the noise. There was a sports fest going on, and the music was extremely loud from early in the morning. You could hear everything through the walls—no soundproofing whatsoever—which made it really hard to relax or sleep. Another issue: I asked for an extra bathrobe because mine was wet from the spa, and the cleaning lady responded by questioning whether we had a third person in the room. She was incredibly rude about it (even if she apologized later), and she actually refused to give me a bathrobe. And to top it all off, we had to switch rooms because the electricity in ours stopped working, yet no one offered to void the charges for the items we had used from the minibar. Plus, spa is not nearly as clean and pretty as shown in the picture. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel. The price does not match the service. For the same amount, I’ve stayed in places that were clean, quiet, and where the staff were much more professional
