RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort

I LOVED EVERYTHING!! The staff are so wonderful, the food is fabulous, the grounds are extremely beautiful. This place is such a sanctuary and such a cheap Grab ride to town. I'm so glad we chose to spend 4 nights here. What a perfect place. We were upgraded to a King room with balcony facing the pool area. If I could I would rate it higher than 10.

Great resort experience. Just chill and lounge and relax. Good spa. Really really good pool. The rooms were very spacious and cozy.

Just a couple of things in the bathroom. Only one towel hook. The faucet and sink is poorly designed such that water splashes everywhere

Great breakfast, loved that they use glass bottles for water not plastic. Kind staff… nice bath tub and view of river.

The gym was super musty and the spa treatments were done right under aircon which I just feel had mold in the vents bc im allergic to mold and I could feel it going to my chest and throat. Still good spa treatments though but right under aircon in basement facility.

What I really liked about the property was the dining experience. The restaurant was absolutely lovely, with a great atmosphere, and the dinner options were excellent. The food was very high quality, well presented, and consistently delicious, which made dining at the hotel a real highlight of our stay.

Where do I begin? Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The staff were often rude, unhelpful, and extremely slow to provide support when we needed assistance. On several occasions, we had to wait a long time for help, and even then, the response felt reluctant rather than supportive. At check-out, we were shocked when a member of staff asked us to remove the complimentary slippers from our luggage, saying we would be charged for them. For a five-star resort, this felt disrespectful and embarrassing, especially as the slippers were basic and of very little value. Another ongoing issue was with breakfast. We clearly informed the hotel that we do not eat pork, yet pork was repeatedly mixed in with the eggs and beef. Despite raising this several times, the same mistake kept happening, and apologies were rare and dismissive. When we raised these concerns at reception, the staff appeared very relaxed and uninterested. We asked to speak to a manager, but this was not taken seriously. Room service was also extremely poor. It took almost two hours to arrive, was delivered to the wrong room because the in-room phones were not working, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. Staff initially refused to remove it from the bill, and it was only after repeatedly challenging this at reception that it was finally addressed. The whole experience made me feel very upset and uncomfortable. Additionally, the room doors did not shut properly, allowing insects to fly into the room. We had to call an engineer, who also took a long time to arrive. Overall, this did not feel like a five-star experience at all. For the price we paid, the lack of care, inclusivity, and professionalism was unacceptable. Sadly, I would not recommend staying here.
