Fabulous location, staff very helpful but need better management of building and direction of staff

Location

Poor management of dining room , no one to greet arrivals, people went away when no one met them. Most Annoyingly, staff were setting tables for lunch all round guests who were still eating breakfast. Tables not cleared as people finished courses. Poor management of cleaning staff. Vacuuming of floors not done, dust and debris left. Heating syastem either too cold, needed extra duvets, and then 28 degrees at night and couldn’t open windows on downstairs room. Grab rails required in shower rooms for disabled people

Great location. Good facilities. Very clean. Eat somewhere else.

Location on the harbour close to the old town. Loft Suite was comfortable, practical and kept spolessly clean. Enjyed the enclosed couches around the pool - comfortable for sitting and reading in the shade. Arranged transfers from and to the airport. Reception staff were helpful - they leant us an umbrella on the one day that it rained. They also promptly sent maintenance to our room to fix a safe that had run out of battery. Public areas were spacious and very clean.

Breakfast was poorly managed. Inconsistent offerings from day to day. Machine for dispensing yogurt kept failing. Coffee was from mediocre Nescafé machines. Scrambled egg was left uncovered and quickly turned to leathery strips of omlette. On the Sunday, there were only two staff on duty. They were completely overwhlemed- unable to provide breakfast to the number of guests and, when challenged behaved belligerently, denying any responsibility. Evening service at the restaurant was so slow we cancelled our order. The half-board customers told us the services was always slow and sometimes unfriendly.

Beautiful and memorable stay in Porec

Beautiful setup, nice building Great location, breakfast outside with sea view Comfortable bed and pillows Very helpful staff especially the drivers to the parking lot. Very good and fast service to the parking. Good WiFi Room with balcony, useful with towels and sea stuff.

A few details becoming important when you stay more than 1 week like us; Various defects in the room and bathroom Very small bathroom, unpractical. Breakfast ok with all essentials but boring after 1 week, always the same , no yogurt for 2 days.

An expensive stay with beautiful views from the superior rooms. Great location

Good location in the old town and right by the sea. The views are beautiful! The breakfast was great and the pool and lounge areas are pretty.

The staff was not so helpful or customer service oriented. In July the stay was more than overpriced. The basic rooms have no view to the sea - which is one of the best things in this hotel.

Strongly recommend to anyone staying in porec.

Great, spacious, comfortable room. Nice pool, decent breakfast, perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff.

The only small concern was the sun umbrellas were a bit flimsy and susceptible to detaching in moderate winds - this happened to other people twice during my stay . I don’t think some people were securing them properly but that can mean other people nearby risk injury. I think there is some work going on in an adjacent building that will be a future part of the hotel (former casino?) . So will be great when that is completed.

Fantastic location and very helpful staff but not a luxurious property/ expensive for what it was

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were very helpful, in particular in helping us get laundry done on a same day basis without extra charge.

Generally speaking, while we had a positive experience,!I feel the hotel is expensive for what you get/ is not value for money. It feels a bit dated. It has a pool which is great but it’s a bit drab, overlooking a concrete carpark and a part of the hotel which looks like a big grey container. The flooring of the pool also seems to be coming away, so it felt to us more like a pool that you used for survival in the heat rather than somewhere you wanted to wile away time. We had a family suite and the shower in one of the rooms was leaking and flooding the bathroom.

Great hotel in the Porec Old Town!

Great hotel in the Porec Old Town! Friendly and helpful staff, extremely good breakfast offer, very good restaurant, great location, no problem with the parking (parking space outside of Old Town, but shuttle bus offer covers it and is really comfortable). 100% recommended!

Lovely hotel in a great location. We were a little apprehensive as you have to park your car in a car park outside the old town, but we contacted the hotel and they picked us up straight away, it was a great service.

The location was amazing. We had a room with a beautiful sea view. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Having breakfast outside next to the water was a treat. The breakfast selection was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, lovely hotel with pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness throughout excellent. lovely breakfast, and the food in the restaurant on the evenings I chose not to go out was of high quality.

Shower over the bath, while I can still do this I’m getting a bit stiff for clambering around. Additional wall rail over bath would have been welcome.

The palazzo is perfectly located in the heart of Porec. Rooms a very modern with up-to-date facilities. The breakfast is a great start of the travelers day.

The bike boxes are to small if too many cyclists stay overnight, they are a bit low too -> watch your head!

Exceeded expectations and wish we stayed longer!

The property is beautiful, great location, easy 5 minute flat walk from the Venice ferry. the bed were comfortable. Our superior double room was huge, had two bathrooms, and a balcony facing the ocean. We ate dinner at the Ritz Restaurant at the hotel, which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The beefsteak was great, as was the shrimp gnocchi and local cheese plate! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and chatty. The included breakfast had hot options like bacon and eggs, but also cold meats, cheeses, wonderful pastries and fresh bread and preserves. The front desk staff drove us to our rental car location. We should have stayed here longer!
