The staff were helpful, good parking and quiet.

The room was great, there were 5 adults and we were all comfortable in the one room, when I had to ask if one more person could stay, they did wonder if we needed another unit , as adults in bank beds, but it was only one night and my daughters enjoyed being back in bank beds.

As we were only there for a night, there was nothing we didn't like.

Reasonably well located, close to takapuna, close to albany, close to cbd. thats about what there is to like here.

i thought in this day and age, in any price bracket beyond "doc hut" we've managed to get past the whole "shower only has a boiling hot or a freezing cold option, there is no way to set a comfortable medium". the shower is simply unusable with any measure of comfort and, while i appreciate this is a budget hotel, its simply not acceptable. also, the entire room seems predicated on "this is what customers expect, lets try and provide it" without any thought given to whether it actually works. there's a microwave and cutlery, but nowhere to actually eat, or do the dishes. you can use the whb in the bathroom, which again has the classic "will the kettle fit under the tap" sort of game happening. tea and coffee are provided. but a tetrapak of milk, alas no real utensil to cut the tetrapak open, so no way of getting said milk into coffee without trying to use the attached straw. much distress ensues. so in brief. a lot of "customers will expect this" coupled with no actual thought put into "will our solution for this actually work"

Quiet, comfortable, and value for money.

We were greeted warmly, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had traveled in 2 separate vehicles, so needed 2 parking spaces, which they were able to provide without any problem. The room was clean, and warm, and comfortable, and most importantly very convenient for where we needed to be for our meeting. We will definitely try to stay here again, the next time we travel to Auckland. This motel is also close to several restaurants and bars.

Host very helpful dealing with my late arrival. Property looked a bit tired from the outside but inside was good. Several eating options just down the road.

Wifi kept dropping out and very slow so ended up just hot spotting to my phone on roaming, and also no kitchen so had to use the bathroom for water and washing.

The air conditioning unit had a sign instructing us to remove the water if it made noise. It did make noise, we were not prepared to climb up high to get it done. This should not be expected of guests. There were ants, lots of them, outside the entrance and they were also inside the front door. I texted management but no response. The room appeared to be unfinished - floor around shower was possibly previously damaged but had not been made to look nice.

Great location and convenient

I liked how close it was to where we needed to be - attending a close relative's funeral held at the funeral home next door. We also liked how close it was to a shopping centre (Northcote shopping center) and also other facilities. Great location and loved how it had its own allocated parking space for our car.

The shower cubicle was really small and made it hard to get in and out of it. But other than that, everything was very good.

Very well priced Auckland motel room, with everything you need for a short stay. Friendly staff. Updated with some modern aspects. Best TV we have had all around NZ Secure parking beside room. Walking distance to shops & Brilliant Beer Spot.

The only issue was no sink in the room, you assume when hiring a studio that there will be kitchen facilities like a sink for washing dishes. The staff however were very accommodating and directed me to a wash house that had big laundry sinks. So not horrendous, over all the staff were great and made up for any inconveneince with their hospitality. Great location, bed was a bit hard but for the price what can you expect. And the price was very good.. Good Shower...

Although there were problems with checking in the first night, the weekend staff were very helpful when contacted on Sunday. The manager helped with remuneration when contacted on Monday which was greatly appreciated.

Clean and great value for money.

Our second time staying here. The Location to the event we were attending was great. Beds were comfortable, staff are friendly and accomodating. Would stay again but prefer lower level units.

We were in an upstairs unit and parking for room was a distance only because of the rain and carrying suitcases up in wet weather. Floors slightly buckled in our room but didn’t affect the stay just door didn’t close properly to bathroom.
