This Hotel does not qualify for a 4 star rating.
The restaurant and lounge area was good. The food was also reasonably good.
The photos of the rooms and bathroom were misleading. The beds or mattresses were well used, the small circular table was old and wobbly. The balcony had not been cleaned and there were cigarette ends in the ashtray on the outside table. The bathroom wall tiles had been painted over. Although we were expecting a shower in the bathroom because I am disabled, we had a bathtub which I could not use. The water pressure on the wash hand basin was little more than a trickle. We booked and paid in advance for 2 weeks. We complained to the receptionist, but she said that although she understood and sympathized with our grievances, she could not offer us a refund as we had booked using Booking.com and that we should take it up with you. My Wife and I decided we could not tolerate these conditions anymore and felt we would be better off at our home. So we left the hotel on 24 September 2025. This Hotel does not qualify for a 4 star rating.

- Despite the poor online reviews, we were absolutely impressed and surprised by this hotel. - It is noisy, but the hotel is usually older! And the hotel can't do anything about annoying guests. - Otherwise, the hotel is located outside of town, in a forest area behind the dunes! Therefore, it would be very quiet there, if it weren't for the annoying hotel guests.

A pleasant stay marred by a faulty bathroom
We have stayed here previously, and know that the restaurant is excellent for us. The bedroom was good and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The bathroom washbasin was the problem. 1. The mixer tap was difficult to move and use. 2. The plug in the basin did not fit the plughole. 3. The washbasin was so blocked that the water took a very long time to empty (which helped us to use the basin without a plug!).

The hotel is good enough for short stays for the price. Also the Family room which we took was good enough for a family of 4. Also the location is very good.
Old furniture and a little smelly. Can use some good room fresheners/some natural flowers which will give a pleasant and welcoming smell to the guests while they are staying in the room. Furniture can be upgraded which will make the room look neat.
