9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
Welcoming and friendly staff, ease and convenience of location. The room was a great size and very warm too. Given the awful weather having a cozy room was fantastic.
My only slight criticism was 1 packet of biscuits for 2 guests but this was still a nice extra

Location was quiet even though near the train station and a busy road. Very walkable to restaurants and the castle. Large car park. Breakfast was ample and good quality.

Great location. Property clean and comfortable.
The shower didn’t work properly most of the time. Any slight adjustment turned the water scaldingly hot or very cold. Felt the original greeting could have been warmer. Last breakfast sitting was 8:45, too early if you’re having a leisure break
