Enjoy the stayed but very disappointed with food on restaurant in the evening and room very cold when we arrived

Location

Evening meal was disappointing menu did not change except for specials. Very disappointed with this and you would imagine this time of the year turkey and ham would be on the menu . When we were shown to our room it was so cold I had to get the manger to put on the heating rooms should be warm before guests arrive.

A lovely warm hotel, very bright and clean. Beautiful conservatory with couches up a few steps in the foyer overlooking the bay. Lovely breakfast.

beautiful location, nice accomodation with parking and a great breakfast

very nice location facing the waterfront, nice views, great parking, adjacent to a beautiful little park, steps from the promenade, the beach and even a golf course. Breakfast was great, abundant and of really good quality. The price was very reasonable.

The bathroom could have been a bit more modern + the thermostat in the bedroom did not seem to work

Nice side view of the prom, comfortable room, if a little tired in places

Breakfast was a huge disappointment, compared to previous visits, buffet is now gone, only one sausage with a "full" Irish, cooked breakfast was cold when it got to the table, only one toast conveyor machine which was mayhem. Do better.

Only downside is the underground carpark is very tight squeeze (even for a small car) with all the cement pillars. Wax a shame you had to book times to go to the pool as couldn’t just pop down whenever you felt like it

The room was enormous, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was worth every penny and of very good quality. The gym was very well equipped and clean. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Location is the best. Easy to get around the area via bus.. food at the bar and restaurants on site was incredible.

Large resort style hotel on the seaside.

Beautiful seaside location about 40 minute walk from the centre of Galway town. Huge hotel catering to bus loads of tourists and conferences. Our room was really large with seaside views. Parking plentiful and complimentary. Although we didn't use the local bus service the ease of use and frequency were a bonus if you didn't like walking into Galway city.

Food was pretty ordinary. We ate in the bar our first night, I expected better quality. Roast meat was nice but the vegetables looked like they came straight from a freezer packet looking dried out as if been under lights for awhile. Brekky time needed to be booked which I don't like. Brekky food ok with ordered hot food and continental buffet.

The pool area . I was very disappointed with the size of the pool. No steam room or no jacuzzi . I suppose it doesn’t need the big pool with Leisure land next door but after a long day travelling a jacuzzi to relax in would be nice .

Better pillows/ more room service options/ postcards of hotel and Salthill/Galway would be a bonus. Additional pasta options on menus but over all lovely hotel.

No CNN 0r American TV POOR TV selections No A/C Breakfast had only one small coffee maker machine serving high numbers of guests. Very bitter, too. Coffee in pots had no taste. Sorry, but we went out to Circle K for a good cup.

There is no upscale luxury to justify 4 stars

The beds were comfortable. The towels, even though you only had one hand towel to share between two adults, were soft and fluffy

The rooms were too hot and airless. No air con, and you could only open the windows a little bit before the safety locks kicked in. Our room, 113, was directly above the solarium, you had to draw the heavy curtains to stop people looking into your room. Nets on this window would have helped No mini fridge in the bedroom. There is no room service information. The breakfast was disappointing.
