Stayed in this hotel once a week for the last 18 months or so.
Great location obviously. Staff are lovely, pretty much always helpful.
Rooms are really quite smart for budget hotel. Beds comfortable, tv fine and well placed. Tea and coffee plentiful. Bathrooms tidy clean compact. Showers variable. Sometimes not great.
Food is great value. Pub food but very competitively priced for captive market. Sausage and mash, burgers, chilli all solid 7/10. 12-15£.
Showers need to be better.
Biscuits would be great and cheap to provide.

Was good value for money and cheaper than other hotels in the area.
Parking charge wasn’t advised until day before stay along with the £120 charge held during my stay.
When I mentioned this at check in and explained it wasn’t well advertised, I was met with a very rude female on the front desk. Very defensive and demeaning. All the other staff were very polite and helpful.
