It is in a gorgeous place and the grounds are beautiful

Room and facilities were excellent. Loved the bar and the location of it within the property. The breakfasy was lovely as was the meal on the evening.
Nothing to be honest. The WiFi could have been stronger in the rooms as I couldn't connect at the back of the room. Have boosters in and around the corridors to help?

Proximity to Bennachie, the extensive grounds, historic location and olde worlde atmosphere.
Very bad sound proofing. There was a wedding while we were there and we were subjected to loud music (even on the 2nd floor!) up until midnight. Offered an upgrade but only at extra cost, so declined. The wedding party was prioritised over other guests, so just had to make do with minimal, laid-out, buffet-style breakfast. Prospective guests might want to find out whether a wedding will be on during their stay. Also, the water pressure in shower very weak. Signs of decay around, such as peeling paint on the sitting room ceiling and various other chips, scuffs and scrapes, which could easily be repaired with a little effort.
