The staff were great, room a bit small but had everything we needed, location was excellent with a view of the castle, the only issue was the flag pole outside banging all night due to high winds, this impacted on the amount of sleep we were able to get. Breakfast was very good.

Good, with free parking; recently refurbished room with opening window, clean, comfortable bed, a desk and chair, good shower and wifi. Ticks all the boxes for a working stay. Internal local pub, a bonus.
Room a little tight, even for a single for 1 night.

This is a pleasant period hotel situated by Warkworth Castle, so it is in a picturesque setting. The hotel's decor gives it an elegant feel. Parking was easy. Breakfast in the morning (poached eggs) were well cooked.
The radiator in the room was not dispelling much warm air and as a result, the room was cold. The bathroom was an ice box. Perhaps Summer is the best time to stay? I did order food in the evening but was disappointed with the prawn cocktail; there were five prawns in the dish and rather a lot of shredded lettuce.
