Generally service was very good , especially by the older members of the staff. Younger temporary staff were not as courteous or helpful as their elder mentors. Otherwise location and everything else was very good
    6.4 / 10Average·Oct 2026
Our stay was somewhat disappointing, particularly in relation to the overall value for money. Upon arrival, it was not immediately clear where to stop or park the car, and we were unable to find a concierge or staff member to assist us. Although we had booked a double room, we were allocated an accessible room. While we appreciate the importance of accessible facilities, the room was not what we had expected, and some of its features, particularly the shower, were less comfortable for our needs. We also noticed a strong, unpleasant odour in the room several times a day, possibly originating from the kitchen. Breakfast was rather average and could benefit from improvement. We were also concerned to observe a member of staff checking the cleanliness of cups by touching their interiors with her fingers, which did not inspire confidence in the hygiene standards. Overall, while there may be positive aspects to the hotel, our experience did not meet our expectations, particularly given the price. We feel that the value for money was limited and that several aspects of the guest experience could be improved.
