    I often travel from London to Manchester through the night after working late and often need to stop half way very late at night. All I require is a friendly face, a key to a room and a basic room with everything working. They were all there. I admit I always struggle with a hotel breakfast that ends at 9am, esp where many of the items are already finished by 8.45am, but I liked the staff at this hotel.. a lady had negotiated with me a late check-in (after 1am) a week in advance. It's a budget hotel and should be reviewed as such. I'd go again in the same circumstances.

    Hotel was as expected for the price paid, for a 1 night stay, you get what you pay for. Heating and shower not great, bed was comfy and got an upgrade from a single room, reception staff were friendly. Building not maintained to a good standard, but reflected in the price. If your looking for a cheap 1 night stay it's okay, but wouldn't recommend for longer.
