staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas
Bar area was comfortable
room was a a decent size
The food was awful. We ate there for convenience but can honestly say it was the worse food we have had in a long time.
Bed very uncomfortable
The room could have been cleaner and the decor very tired, we've paid less for far better in other places like Leeds. Little things like the loo roll, it was the cheapest you could possibly get.The location was ok but the whole town centre is very run down and it didn't feel very safe walking about as we were there for a concert.

Central location with parking, nice ambient atmosphere, drinks not over inflated prices
Food in the restaurant was average at best. Although I booked breakfast I didn’t turn up.

Room is quiet and bed so comfortable.
Loved Breakfast
Shower over bath. Even though bath mat provided its difficult for my husband to get in and out of.

We loved the hotel, especially the excellent location. Our room was big and spacious and had a sofa bed, fridge and safe. There was a great choice at breakfast. We would definitely stay again, and in fact we had already booked again for March!
I didn't give a perfect score because the carpets in the shared hall were a little stained and one of our windows wouldn't open, but it wouldn't stop us staying again.

For the price, I was honestly really impressed. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and we were allowed to bring our dog. The girl who helped us at breakfast as we’re both disabled with a young toddler was wonderful. Went out of her way to help us and didn’t make us feel like we were in the way at all. Based on that alone it was a better experience than we’ve had at other hotels. Breakfast was excellent.
Yes it may need a bit of a refresh, but honestly, you get what you pay for here and I can’t fault it.

Bathroom dated needs a little tlc.
Cold night heating via air-conditioning but on a timer so it went off after 1hr so cold during night.
Bed comfy.
No literature in room about breakfast time etc or local area.
Close to railway station.
Car park charge £5 reasonable charge.

Breakfast was superb. It was hot and plenty of choice.
We were stranded in snow storm on evening of 8th January so no choice but to find hotel for night. Sadly no food/bar snacks available and we hadn't eaten since lunchtime. Clint on reception went over and above to make us as comfortable as he could and gave us toothbrush sets and charged my phone.

The property was very clean. The staff were friendly and bubbly if you were also bubbly. Weren’t overly friendly.
Housekeeping are lovely! We’ve stayed a couple times, super helpful and kind. The carpets could do with some TLC on the staircases as they are a bit thread bare in places. Rooms are a good size
The food was bad. And expensive!
We got 2 bowls of the pesto pasta, I’m lactose intolerant and this was the only pasta with no dairy in the description, when it came it was covered in cream, little to no pesto. It was like drinking a cup of cream! No taste. But after paying something like £15! I was going to eat it. Again the garlic bread was half frozen.

Staff were friendly, no one around when checking out.
Carpet was badly marked, toilet extract fan did not work leaving the toilet smelling of wee, the safe didn’t work, pube on the wall by the hook in the bathroom. Very poor for the price £164 for 1 night.

It’s in the city center so quite noisy but that’s to be expected

The room was very spacious and the sofa bed was already pulled out, so that saved time. I liked the power shower and the tea&coffee facilities and the kids enjoyed theassive tv and lots of channels they said. Everything was clean and tidy.
The bar staff were very welcoming when we took our drinks.
I didn't like an empty reception to come too. We waited a good 5 mins before we saw anyone. The lady wasn't very polite when I asked for another key for our room. I had said my partner came to the hotel a bit later and see said I had to be there but I couldn't be there. I was at a family get togethet across town. Luckily we arrived back separately at the same time and the staff on the evening were much nicer and accommodating.

Property was a great location to the KK Steel Mill which is the reason we picked the hotel. Staff lovely, hotel clean, tidy, the only thing we found was the safe wasn’t working in our room. When we advised the hotel upon checkout as we made other arrangements as we were running late when needed the safe. We were
Advised we should have been advised upon check in that all safes were under maintenance and that the hotel would hold belongings if we needed them too. This we was not advised. The same lady checked us in who
Checked us out. This is the only advisory. Hotels really should have safes working.

The reception areas were really comfortable and clean, the bar and dining areas were clean and the food was piping hot and plenty of choices to suit your needs.
The rooms were very clean but sadly very dated. The curtains had holes in letting in street lighting. The bed was very hard and the pillows weren’t comfortable.

We love it at the Novotel Wolverhampton.
Its always a lovely stay, nice friendly staff. Everything we need for a comfortable night.

Beautiful breakfast.
Friendly staff and bar staff.
The fridge freezers aren't always working sufficiently and could be bigger.
It could use a lock for child safety.

Location was great for the area.
Bed was comfortable.
On site car park is a bonus.
Staff didn’t seem to be interested in their customers.
Took ages to check in. Person didn’t know what they were doing. Better training.
No one at the bar in the evening and when someone arrived, they had to go and get ice and then crisps. A lady came back but apparently had gone off to make tea and left bar unmanned. Saturday evening.
Toilet seat loose.
Shower knob had bit missing.
When we went down to breakfast, items had run out and no one checking or refilling.

The bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. The toilet was separate to the bathroom. There was a bath to have a wallow in. The cost was good. Very convenient to the train station. Plenty of towels. A non slip mat was provided.
Room decor is tired. The carpet was stained - it should have been professionally cleaned or replaced. No pictures, no room service or restaurant menus. Plain, flat decor. Nothing on the walls. It was just a "Room". Perhaps a refurb is needed.
