Castellón Center, Affiliated by Meliá Hotel

The hotel was very clean, with a comfortable/spacious lobby and friendly staff. The room had a small table with a chair, a mini-fridge (which was for a classic hotel "cocktail bar" but had enough space for us to put in a couple of small items), and a smart TV (though we had to log in to streaming services with our personal accounts), and the bathroom had a bidet and the shower had different attachments. The mattress/pillows and all of the furnishings seemed to be good quality.

Only small details/little annoyances. The key cards repeatedly became de-magnetized, even when we kept them in different pocket from our phones; I had to go to the front desk to fix the key card almost every time I wanted to re-enter the room. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was far away from the sink, so it was necessary to walk across the room to get soap. The gym (which I didn't use) did not have air conditioning. The air conditioner in the room was not as powerful as the one in the lobby, so the room was slightly warmer than I would have liked. The bed was (in classic European style) made up of two single mattresses, so one of us would spend the night falling into the crack between the mattresses. Even though these are a lot of things, I consider them minor and overall found this to be a very nice hotel!

Very clean hotel and rooms. spacious rooms and very comfy beds. i travelled with kids and a dog and nothing bad to mention. close to the "city center" and near restaurants.

Hard to find parking if you travel by car. i was lucky that it was only one night and i found just in front of the hotel.

Our room, a junior suite, was enormous and very comfortable. Good breakfast.

The access to the underground car park was very tight, steep and very narrow almost too tight for our car. Very disappointed with the view from the large terrace. I had to stand on tip toe to see over the high wall.
