Perfect lo ation and great staff.

Just across the street from the train station, which was great for getting to Cinque Terre. Hotel is in a bustling part of this vibrant port city and the main piazza of the city was just a ten minute walk. Loved it!

Arrived late from Florence and had to crash over night before taking train to Cinque Terre. Mary was the most convenient

Exceptionally convenient when you are coming La Spezia by train, especially late in the evening. Hotel is literally across the street from the tunnel from the train platforms. Friendly staff, easy communication (English), and simple check-in. Short walk to town and shopping area with good restaurants.

We chose the location for convenience, not for luxury. Room was clean and practical, even if nothing fancy. Basic & functional - for a good price. We liked it and good fit for what we needed.

Great hotel opposite to La Spezia Train Station.

The facilities are clean and comfort. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but very well maintained. The hotel owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great if you travel by train as it is located opposite to La Spezia train station. Elevator from train station is available and just walk across the street to the hotel.

Nice friendly hotel

Location opposite station was great and very close to restaurants and easy walk down to the port.Very friendly,homely and clean..nice comfortable lounge. Staff very nice and helpful. Good cold buffet breakfast for 10€..plenty of pastries etc and there was also toast. Room and bed comfortable with AC and safe

Shower on small side and pressure not great but room was very clean and bed comfortable. No kettle or fridge but did say that in room description so not a complaint

Good place to stay if exploring cinque terre

Close proximity to the station if you are staying here to explore cinque terre. Very nice staff (the young lady), very informative. I didn’t have breakfast there but the typical Italian breakfast I think is cheaper than outside. Good water pressure. Lots of tables in the room. There is a mini safe.

There is a slight unpleasant smell in the room. It’s also a very small room though I am alone so it was ok. The water one time also tasted weird when I was brushing my teeth. Elevator is very tight and only one although I didn’t have any problem when I was staying there.

Any closer to the train station I would need a bed on the platform. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and comfortable.

Location was just perfect close to spring didn’t have to lug suitcases around, had an elevator, clise to restaurants

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION AND FRIENDLY STAFF!

This is a surprising hotel. It may not look that much at first glance but don't be deceived. Some say the rooms are old, yes. But they are well kept. The staff is amazing and it looks like a family business. It gives you a feeling of being home that we rarely feel in hotels. The location cannot be better to visit La Spezia and the Cinque Terre. Just 1 min. from the train and the main streets. We were there 4 days and we already miss it.

I have to say that the bed matress have seen better days.

Practical stop en route to CInque Terre

We had an unexpected detour en route to Cinque Terre due to a train strike and had to fid somewhere at short notice to sleep with a late night arrival. Staff were most helpful and the Hotel is just accross the road from the train station and taxi rank. For our purposes this worked out well.

Very good base for the cinque terre and a great place to stay as a solo traveller

The room was as stated, clean room, easy check in and check out and perfect for a solo traveller. Used this as a base for the cinque terre. The hotel is just opposite the station which makes it very easy to do but also shops and restaurants are very close by.

Hotel close to the station ideal for a Cinque Terre trip

The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was very good. We loved the pancakes. The hotel is very close to the train station which makes it perfect for a Cinque Terre trip. It was also close to the center with many restaurant options.

There was no free parking nearby, and the hotel was located in a timed parking area which was not useful to park the whole day. No place to load or unload our luggage as it's located by a very busy main street. The staff recommended us a free parking place, almost 15 min walk, but didn't mention the parking by the station (1 min walk), although we didn't mind paying.

Breakfast is acceptable but doesn't expect scrambled eggs or omelets, it is more locally customized. The location is excellent right across from La Sparzia train station easy to get to. Room was spacious.

The location was good Right opposite the train station. Close to the historic centre Room had a balcony and was spacious

There was only 1 chair so not possible to sit on the balcony or in the room. We had to sit on the bed The third bed had a shelf over the top of it so my son banged his head. It wasn't a proper bed Lift is tiny and can't fit luggage so everyone was climbing 4 flights with all the bags.

Right opposite the La Spezia station. Pretty decent property and well worth the money you're paying for. Staff is helpful and guides you with the Cinque Terre tickets if needed

Good experience in La Spezia

Excellent location, right across from the train station and close to the city centre. My single Room was soundproofed, did not hear a sound from the inside and thus managed to sleep deeply. Staff very kind, friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, toilet and shower very clean. Room also had air conditioning, small fridge, hair drier and TV!
