Lovely hotel in a small town that is perfect for exploring the Cinque Terre.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and well equiped. The breakfast had a lot of variety. It’s close to the train and beach as well as shops and an atm. Conveniently located and easy to walk everywhere.
The room I was in was quite noisey as it was right next to the elevator. I could also hear my neighbours very clearly through the wall. I also noticed some ink stains on my sheets. Not all rooms will have a tnis issue.

Yes, we reccomend!
I write from the perspective of an English family;
We stayed in the Portofino Suite which includes a bedroom, living room, bathroom and a terrace. The rooms were lovely. Spacious with all the luxuries one would expect in a 5 star hotel. Shampoos, soaps, conditioners and lotions. A range of coffee and teas. Still and sparkling water. A small fridge.
The air conditioning kept the room cool and the humidity down although we couldn't adjust it to make it any cooler. But that wasn't an issue. The room overall was very comfortable.
The chamber maids and cleaners did a really great job especially considering a family of 3 and the mess we often made!
The reception staff were always friendly and very helpful. If the hotel didn't have it, they were quick to provide a solution.
The pool is lovely and has various jets that will provide different massages and or keep kids entertained for a few hours.
The homemade ice cream is amazing!
And the cocktails were fabulous too. During 'Aperitif hour' which starts at 17:30, the most amazing nibbles can be ordered. (I have included a photo of the nibbles. This is just for 1 person!)
The hotel is located 200 meters or so from the station with a very easy walk. It's also about 100 meters to the beach and promenade. Come out the hotel and walk around the building literally opposite and a small supermarket can be found. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of everything.
Both the living room and the bedroom in the Portofino suite have quite large Samsung TV screens. Easy to get to the ports and plug in a Fire Stick. If needs be, go into the settings and change the audio language to English. Some channels offer their programs in Italian, English and other languages.
The hotel overall is very clean. Great helpful staff and so easy!
Quiet in the evenings as no 'entertainment' is provided. Very relaxing.
Super value for money.
I write from the perspective of an English family;
Breakfasts. We tried hard as the buffet style breakfast had quite a reasonable selection but, it was crawling with flies and sometimes wasps too. None of the other guests seemed to mind but for us, sadly, it was a no go. Perhaps it was just us?
Mosquitoes. The hotel tried hard. Citronella candles everywhere (which, in the evenings make it pretty too) but even with our max strength Jungle Juice DEET sprays poured on to every inch of our browning bodies, we were still stung quite a bit.
The Portofino Suite only has 1 toilet facility. As such, if receiving guests, they will be using the only bathroom. Having 1 'loo' for a couple is fine. But when a small family is faced with the only 'loo' being in the bathroom, things can get quite desperate, especially in the morning when the shower is being used and someone else just woke up and is desperate!
Most other suites we have enjoyed normally have a separate guest loo.

Take this hotel if you want a pool/room service, otherwise an apartment is preferable.
The hotel is very close to the beach. In front of the hotel, there is a pool with some shadow around. Sunbeds and benches on the roof make very cosy atmosphere. Parking is available on the hotel grounds. Rooms are cleaned well.
the room has a kitchenette (a 2-burner stove and a small fridge) but no dishes at all. It is important to note because neither the hotel's restaurant nor almost any other restaurant in the village serves lunch. The hotel provides chaises-longues on the beach only to guests who paid for demi-pension. While communication with front desk is efficient, room service speaks little English or Italian - so their poor communication sounds rather rude. Also, schedule of room cleaning is weird: when you come back from the beach around noon to take shelter from heat at its peak, you find out that this is exactly the time when the room is being serviced. Room service somehow did not notice an air conditioner leakage right in the middle of the room and never cleaned bins (we had to take our garbage out ourselves).

A lovely hotel which we hope to visit again.
A lovely, smallish hotel in Deiva Marina. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our room was clean with a great sized comfortable bed, fridge and balcony. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower and plenty of fluffy bath towels. The room was cleaned daily.
A lovely quiet pool area and outdoor seating, again well maintained and very clean and tidy.
We would definitely recommend and hope to visit and stay again.
Nothing, loved it there.

Accomodating staff, amazing food, convenient location in a small vibrant town.
The staff was very accommodating!
I was here with my boyfriend on vacation and we arrived around midnight not realizing that the front desk service was not 24/7. we felt so bad because the property owner who lived nearby had to come and open up the gate and lobby for us. I know she wasn’t to happy with us and I kept apologizing. but i do appreciate how willing she was to help at the end of the day.
the food was amazing. buffet breakfast was so good. we were also able to get a dinner reservation the night of after realizing other restaurants in the area were booked with reservations. we had to wait 30-40min but it was well worth it because everything was so good.
it’s also in a great location just 20 min outside of cinque terre. you can get the train passes at the front desk! the lady at the front desk was super helpful! we would’ve been lost without her
i just wish the front desk service was 24/7. i never had to worry about arriving too late at a hotel before. apparently they called me but I didn’t get a call or email. it would’ve been nice if someone stayed behind knowing that there was a tourist still out there that hadn’t checked in yet but i know they shouldn’t have to do that had I checked their check in hours beforehand.

Will stay here again for sure
The hotel staff are amazing, very friendly and courteous. It is a family owned and operated hotel, and the owner Anna is wonderful! The food we amazing, we had dinner at the hotel both nights we stayed there. The hotel is walking distance from the train station, and they have on-site parking (although it is very tight even for small cars). It was very easy for us to drive our cat straight to the hotel, and from there it is just a short train ride to see all of Cinque Terre. We also bought our train tickets right from the hotel desk which was very convenient!
Nothing comes to mind.

Lovely Italian family hotel
Cozy Italian family hotel with decent good size pool and beach just on the other side of the road. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. You can order drinks, coffee and cakes by the pool and you can buy the best homemade gelato at the hotel. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby the hotel, but the hotel also have a restaurant which is only open after 9:30 pm.
The bathroom was very small, hardly had space to move around.

the location, 3 minutes walking from the beach and the centre, and so well connected with the boat to have daily trips to the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Lerici.

Very good
Pool and grounds were very nice.
Dinner was very good and the Marmalatas for brekky were delicious.
The staff were super friendly and helpful - especially with the Cinque Terra access and hiking tips. The train and ferry timetable printouts that were provided became our go to essential documents for navigating the Cinque Terra.
Breakfast was a bit tricky with the COVID restrictions making service a tad awkward. No major issue though.
