Italiana Hotels Cosenza

The hotel was very well situated in the city and the staff was great. I was able to speak Italian, but the front staff was also fluent in English so language was not an issue. The room was very nice, on the level of most business hotels in the USA, very quiet, good shower pressure, comfortable bed, and good WiFi. As a seasoned business traveler, I would recommend this property.

There was nothing in particular that I did not like about the property. Unfortunately I did not get to try the breakfast they offered but I'm sure it was good.

Fridge not working, room safe not fixed down could be carried out of the room , no manned 24 hour reception was given a contact number if help was required your description is not correct please require it and make sure you are not misleading customers.

Staff was kind and efficient. Breakfast well assorted -- though no typical sweets (panettone, pandoro) on Christmas day and new year eve. Parking fenced and with camera surveillance, offered by the property

Concierge (and door) closed after 23:00, though a side entrance was available. Breakfast served only until 10:00. Room windows with insufficient insulation, both for temperature and -- especially -- noise. The room faced the main street, with a relatively intense traffic. Frames appeared of very low quality. Room furniture was showing signs of time and insufficient maintenance; no electric socket masks (staff replied "oh, they steal them"). Insufficient storage, probably well suited for one-two days stay.
