Three Little Pigs Hostel - Your Berlin Castle

Great property, close to public transport. Large communal area.

No kitchen which is annoying. The doors are quite loud. Why not just have them open or get hinges that slow the door. It is correct about staff not enforcing respectful noise control. Midnight and it’s loud as hell, a bit of decency is nice.

The location was excellent - barely a 5 minute walk from the Tempodrom in Berlin where the concert I was going to was on. Also near a Lidl and a between 2 different metro lines which made getting around Berlin even easier. The single room bed was unbelivably comfortable.

The hostel was a little noisy late at night. Other guests weren't as quiet and considerate after 10/11pm as I have experienced in other hostels. I think this was due to a younger crowd e.g. school tour group. Perhaps this could be better enforced. The doors could be cusioned so they aren't as noisy when they close.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! I would like to thank all of them for their fantastic work!💓 They let me borrow the lock and key for my capsule and explained that I can leave my things and pick them up later. Really hospitable 😌🙌🏼 The location is great - landmarks and museums in a few minutes walk, a good choice of convenience and grocery stores, also you can get to the main train station in just 15 minutes and the bus stop is close to the hostel.

I understand that hostels come with certain challenges and restrictions, however, nothing can prepare you for uncanny roommates. The woman that stayed in my room would go around naked and even barricade the room doors with her things and refuse to remove them... Very awkward interaction. Would be nice to introduce a couple rules for the guests, like hostel etiquette? Another thing is beds - I swear I could feel mine shaking when I was breathing too deeply. The breakfast was sad - I thought of getting it, but upon seeing the price and the offer decided otherwise:(

it’s was very loud, i reached when their anniversary party was on full swing and its was extremely loud music and a lot of drunk people. i would have not stayed there if I would have known that
