Located 5min walk from the fisherman’s bastion and castle area. We had the superior room which was huge with double doors onto a balcony. Bed was a little creaky but comfortable. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. WiFi was excellent. It was a heatwave and 36c outside but the air conditioning was excellent. There was a large communal fridge with a shelf per room for guests to use. Breakfast was very basic but fine for a bite to eat before heading out. Would like to stay again in the winter months. Brilliant value for money.
Nothing really. Property is a bit dated but didn’t bother us at all and there was everything we needed and more. Could have done with the WiFi code and breakfast times in the bedroom as we arrived late and didn’t see them at the reception desk. As most places this side of the river there are some hills and steps in this area, but plenty of public transport options available to get around.

The room was wonderful, we had a very large balcony and lots of outlets. Very roomy. Nice shower. Comfy bed and bedding. The location is a short walk from Metro and other public transportation. It is minutes away from Fisherman‘s Bastion and the Castle District was within walking distance. The breakfast was nice and delicious and Victor the owner, was very accommodating and nice. Breakfast could be eaten inside or on the balcony or even taken back to the room. There was a TV in the room, though no refrigerator, there was one by the reception that could be utilized to keep things cold if necessary. Outside of our room from the balcony was a huge fig tree however, none of the figs were ripe yet!
Nothing really, we had hoped to have a direct view of the Parliament Building, but our floor level was too low. However, that was not a major showstopper, only something to be aware of in case you’re hoping to have that view.

The location is very good. The rooms are big enough. Basic breakfast but enough for short stays.
The rooms needs new amenities, new towels etc The carpet needs to be removed in the rooms as it is not very hygienic.
