As usual , the ambience was great. Great place to stay . The staff are excellent, great food as well.
It is not convenient to book uber and go around as Taxi and Auto union sits right out side Taj Kovalam and they threaten uber drivers , shout and scream when they come to pick you up. They take the liberty to shout at customers too who have spent money to gain a wonderful holiday. They are uncouth goons who do not work, lazy around and make customers life hell. I am surprised Taj, UDS and Leela has not done anything to deter these union who costs business .

The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. I would like to highlight James, who took great care of me—he was supportive, attentive, and truly made a difference in my experience. At the restaurant, Anil was wonderful; he worked with the chef to prepare a curry adapted to my food intolerances, and it was absolutely delicious.
My experience at the front desk was mixed. Joel was not very welcoming, a bit rude, and didn’t give much attention, which was disappointing. Also, the property and facilities feel a bit dated and could benefit from some updates
