Good Hotel, Host and Front & Back of Hse Team-Neighbours seemed to ALL be smokers

I had issue with first room I was assigned and I was moved to another room in less than a couple hours.

Light in shower kept flickering throughout duration of my stay. Curtain had slight dust and soil on them looked like it had not been washed a few month. Although bed looked recently changed I found hair from intimate areas that wasn’t mine under the duvet. My neighbours didn’t adhere to Hotel rule that prohibits smoking. This meant for durations of my stay I suffered symptoms of secondary smoke inhalation including triggering of my asthma, eye and throat irritation and feeling of blocked nasal passage and airway. Also, numerous guests would hang out and different times outside the hotel to smoke. This wasn’t something I looked forward to experiencing copious amount of smoke when entering or existing the hotel as it gave me negative symptoms and smell lingered in my clothes and hair.

Ok to crash for the night near the airport but no more than that

Close to the airport - though bear in mind it's still a 10-15 CHF Uber away if that's something that's important to you. Ideal if you just need a place to crash for the night - but wouldn't book to stay any longer.

There was no blind or curtain on the large window which affected privacy and sleep comfort. The contactless check-in display, which is outside the building, displays your room number and door code on a large screen, which would make it far too easy for someone to see your personal details, especially as there were people hanging around outside the building. We were given a room number which turned out to be in the other building but we only found this out after calling the emergency number, which an exasperated worker answered as if we were dumb for not knowing to check another building. We had multiple men ring our room doorbell until late into the night, which didn't feel safe. There is no lock on the front door of the building which means anyone can enter. The bedding had some stains and the pillows were very soft. Overall, the room did the job for somewhere to crash for the night, but don't expect any frills and keep your wits about you when accessing your room number and door code to stay safe.

Extremely bad. I demand refund

The bed sheet were dirty with visible unwashed blood strains and other strains. When I asked for clean sheets the manager told that he is not going to change all the sheets. He will give me onther room, if I don't like, I can cancel the room and go. This was in the middle of the night and I was travelling with my son so I couldn't just leave. The second room had dirty sheets as well and refused to change then all. He only changed one.

Terrible experience.

I booked two rooms but got key for one only. I checked in at 10 pm so it was very annoying as we reached after a tiring travel. After contacting the property, I got the second key. Then there was no arrangement for hot weather conditions. The room was like an oven when we went in. There was not even a fan available. Other people staying there were also roaming outside the building to kill the heat for some time. There were dirty towels in the cupboard and also water leaking from the wash basin drain pipe in washroom. It was a terrible experience.

There is nothing good about the property except that it is closer to the bus station and airport.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel

I had a very bad experience staying at this hotel. The car parking situation was absolutely pathetic — they assigned the same parking space to multiple guests. As a result, someone reported and towed our car, and the hotel staff didn’t respond or help us at all during the night. The room itself was in horrible condition. It was messy, had a bad odour, and the ventilation was terrible. There was no fan or AC in the room, making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, people were shouting outside the hotel late into the night, making it hard to sleep. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. Poor management, zero support, and terrible facilities. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel.

Proximity to the airport

I booked this hotel due to its convenient location near the Zurich airport, but unfortunately, I did not feel safe during my stay. When I arrived, I noticed that someone had wedged a rock in the front entrance door to keep it propped open, allowing anyone to enter the building. This, combined with several unfamiliar men walking throughout the property, made it unclear whether they were guests or not. The door to my unit also did not have an interior lock, which added to my discomfort. As a solo traveler, safety is my top priority, and I didn’t feel secure staying here. I made the decision to check out a day early and informed the hotel of my safety concerns, but they refused to reimburse me for the unused night. In addition, the shower curtain rod was broken and lying inside the tub, which suggests maintenance issues as well. I hope the hotel seriously considers improving its security measures. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

I would not recommend this accommodation, as there was nothing positive about our stay. First and foremost, the listing is misleading. While it claims to be near the airport, the property is not located within the airport vicinity—you’ll need to take a taxi costing approximately 25 CHF to reach it. Upon arrival, navigating to the allocated room was confusing and frustrating. We saw two families struggling outside the building, unsure of how to access their rooms. There is no clear signage or assistance, which makes check-in unnecessarily stressful. This is not a hotel, but rather a regular apartment building being used for short-term rentals. Once inside, the corridor had a strong, unpleasant odour. It was far from welcoming. Inside our unit, the issues continued: No soap for hand washing TV remote was missing batteries, and the TV did not work No napkins or hot water kettle in the room—basic necessities for any traveller Only one drinking glass, which is unacceptable for multiple guests Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and felt small and worn out What’s worse, there is no on-site staff or reception, and no nearby shops to buy essentials like soap, water, or snacks. You're essentially left on your own. During the night, we were disturbed by loud noises from various units in the building. It appears that many young residents or short-term renters live in the complex, making it noisy and not at all relaxing. In summary, this accommodation fails on cleanliness, comfort, and services. I would strongly advise future travellers to consider alternative options, especially if you're looking for a stress-free stay near the airport.

Disgusting hostel not safe for children

Nothing!! Arrived late at night to self check in, I travelled with my daughter and we were met by several men sitting around in the porch. Very intimidating. We were allocated 510 and searched for an hour but there is now 510

Had to then walk in the middle of the night and pay for another hotel and it was not safe there. No response from them. I would avoid at all cost! Totally ruined my holiday

Room, location and neighborhood were all fine.

It was impossible to check in on arrival as the IT system was not working; and there was absolutely no emergency contact. It was very worrying and upsetting. I would strongly recommend some way people can seek help when this happens.

Close to airport but not very comfortable

It’s close to the airport, has supermarkets, eateries and bakeries nearby. The rooms are spacious and bathroom clean. A small kitchenette is available with crockery/cutlery. It has a lift. There’s a huge terrace by the top floor rooms.

Although the place had strict check in and check out and won’t let check in before 2 pm, the room was still not ready when we checked in at 2 pm and we had to wait in the corridor while the cleaning staff was still cleaning the rooms. That’s a pity as we were tired and exhausted and desperately needed the space. The curtains were dirty. No AC, no blind out curtains in one of the rooms. It was very hot and uncomfortable being on the top floor without fan/AC. We traveled in mid June. There’s only two cups and very few spoons. There was too much light coming in despite rolling down the blinds as one room had No black out curtains. Not worth it for the price imo.

I was told to go to one building, but my apartment was in another. The main door was always propped open with a stone, which felt very unsafe. The bathroom had visible mold and was dirty. Would not recommend.

It was literally one of the cheapest options in Zurich, yet the place was quite good for the money. No reception, very close to the airport and not so far from S-Bahns.

Don’t Do It - Spend the extra money for a comfortable stay

Very close to the airport, but definitely has some drawbacks - be warned!

Parking is 20CHF extra and you have to reserve it ahead of time - didn’t catch that in the lengthy message after booking, arrived with our rental car with nowhere to park. Had to go next door to the much nicer hotel to use their garage for 27CHF. The area is a little seedy and our room smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes, overall a really gross experience, couldn’t sleep well and felt nauseated all night. Would absolutely not book this place again.

It had beds and hot water and close to the airport.

The place was dirty, dusty and poorly furnished. Only ceiling lights. No table lamps. Instructions for entry were poor. We found others having similar issues with key codes, etc. The advertised kitchen was abysmal. No utensils or way to prepare food other than microwave.

Very clean and comfortable. Fully equipped. Good sized bathroom. Great proximity to the airport and shops and restaurants. Even though there is no reception the staff replied to my email immediately.

The blinds remained shut as the mecanism was broken. I had to put the light on during the day and it was not possible to air the room even if you opened the window. The external blinds were down and shut. At some point someone entered into my room. They received the same code and the same room as me. This is a security issue. This should never happen.
