les suites taipei ching cheng

Excellent location, right on the doorstop of exit 7 Nanjing Fuxing giving you two train lines as well as a bus stop. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We had to bunker down for the typhoon and they looked after us well especially with the free lounge. Excellent baby amenities (good cot, bath, sterilizer)

Bed is on the firmer side

The staff were very helpful, in particular, Alex Chen who helped me to retrieve medication I left in my Tainan hotel, and Ian who helped me book a ticket for a concert. Thank you both again! Breakfast and happy hours were lovely. Good selection. On two evenings what I had during happy hours was good enough for an early dinner. Two metro lines just metres away from the hotel.

The lighting in the lift was dim and the first time I was using it, couldn't see which floor to press. Conversely the lighting in the room was too bright, and couldn't be dimmed for night time. The air-con in Room 612 could not be adjusted, it stayed at 23 degrees whatever setting I chose. I didn't want the bother of changing my room so only told the manager on checkout. I tried each day to tell the cleaning staff that I would like to reuse towels and there was no need to change the sheets, but they were changed anyway.

A great boutique hotel experience. The happy hour was a nice touch. Proximity to trains and shops was great.

The location of the hotel is good.

Looks to have had leaks from the roof & the hotel smelt musty in the main areas. The faculties, such as the gym are small & poor for a hotel.
