Verify that housekeeping staff are aware of late check-out arrangement

• Cheap • Plenty of free street parking • We were able to borrow cutlery from their pozza restaurant

I had a cold and paid extra €15 upon check-in so i can do late check-out (3pm instead of the usual 11am) the next day. Unfortunately, 4 separate staff knocked on the door asking me to leave the room starting around 9:30am. I wanted to rest/sleep but they kept disturbing me. There was obviously a miscommunication, very frustrating.

Breakfast was fair. Location of the hotel very good, because of tram #17, rooms really small for two persons.

Comfy stay + 10 min taxi from the airport and 20 min tram from the train station

Comfy beds and I would say soundproofing walls/windows. It was on the 1floor but quiet. There is a fuel station with a tiny shop in 100m - great 24H option to bye some snacks, salats, drinks etc. Tram is just around the coner, about 20 min and you are at the main train station/ city center. The taxi to/from the airport through Apps costed us 15-20 EUR and took about 10 min ride.

The maid at the hotel never knocked! She always opened the door according to her wishes and even when "Don't disturb" was on.

Only the position

Air conditioning not working, I was asking for a support and the guy at the reception was insisting that the air conditioning was working but with malfunction. So for me it means it doesn’t work, due to this the room was warm than expected. Expected to have more options for the breakfast, especially because it costs 13€ for person (at least scrambled eggs and bacon.

- The room only has stools and no chair with back support which can make it hard to work

Good deal in a convenient location

A few steps from the tram line that goes to the main station. The room was clean. The internet was fast. Overall good deal for a short stay.

The shower was not draining properly. The staff were generally friendly but I had an unpleasant interaction with a young lady on the night shift who apparently thought I was planning to steal a Fanta. She wouldn’t add it to my bill and insisted I go up to get her the money from my room before I drink it.

The location is very good. About 100m. to train stop. Cleaning is very good. Also, it's very silent.

The breakfrast is very poor. Last years I stayed a lot of time at other Ibis Hotels. Breakfast was very good. But, this year I didn't satisfied. Also, formerly they put very good quality shampoos at the showers. This year quality is very low.

Overall a vey nice stay, just exactly you need for a fair time. Very close to the tram stop as well.

Breakfast is really great. Very good crispy bacon and delicious scrambled eggs are my favorite. There are many options for bread ( gluten-gree, wheat, etc ) and also musli. Coffee is really good as well.

The only negative thing is that breakfast area is so crowded at rush hour and there is coffee queue .

MY STAY IN IBIS FRANKFURT CITY MESSE

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT...QUIET, BUT ALSO NEXT TO THE TRAM STOP!!!

THOUGH THE ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN CLEANED BEFORE I CHECKED IN, WHEN I CHECKED IN THE ROOM (21/10), I FOUND A WOMAN'S UNDERWEAR THROWN ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO THE DESK... SOMETHING I REPORTED THE DAY I CHECKED OUT (23/10)...THE INCIDENT WAS RECORDED BY THE RECEPTIONIST, WHO ONLY APOLOGISED, BUT DIDN'T MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT A REFUND - AT LEAST OF A PART OF THE MONEY I HAD PAID - SOMETHING THAT SHE SHOULD HAVE NORMALLY DONE, SINCE IT IS A HOTEL POLICY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT HAS TO DO WITH THE CLEANINESS AND HYGIENE OF A HOTEL ROOM, AND ESPECIALLY AMIDST COVID PANDEMIC.
