Train your staff to be polite to customer

I felt very disappointed with the staff’s attitude during check-out. It’s unpleasant to see that the hotel has front desk staff who speak impolitely to guests. I would like to suggest improving this by providing proper training on customer service and manners, ensuring that all guests, regardless of nationality, are treated equally. When I, as an Asian guest, asked to leave some items for my friend, the staff refused quite rudely. However, when my German friend spoke to the same staff, they agreed to do it. The standard of service should be consistent and fair to everyone.

Didn't meet the expectations

I liked the shuttle bus to and from the airport. The room was clean.

The room was cold and noisy because of the ventilation that could not be stopped. The mini bar was empty. The Self Check-in terminals are obvious threat to your personal data. The screens are huge and there for everyone to see as you've been asked to give all possible personal information, that you are otherwise not required when going to the normal check-in desk. Also, maybe you should mention to your guests that a safe deposit would be blocked from their account.

Great hotel for travellers using Frankfurt airport.

Excellent location 10 min or less by shuttle from airport. Welcoming helpful front desk. Spacious bedrooms with modern clean design. Excellent breakfast with great choices. Dinner was a bit boring and overpriced. Overall excellent.

Restful overnight satay

Very clean and modern. Easy to get to from airport on their shuttle which runs frequently. Beautiful hotel & rooms nicely decorated.

First room we were placed in had a problem (shower flooded bathroom). Second room was very nice also however when you sat on the toilet, sewage gas came up around the base of the toilet. Staff was advised when we checked out and I’m sure they got right on it. Staff was helpful, kind and professional.

I didn’t understand why I was supposed to check-in online beforehand. I still had to stand in line at check-in and answer questions. Air-conditioning was clumsy - not digital. Never managed to get room cold enough for the night.

Luxury relax minutes from Frankfurt airport

Sauna and pool facilities were excellent and just what I needed to de stress during travel. Food was high quality for dinner, the dining staff were stellar and very polite and meticulous, drink selection was very high quality. I really appreciated the upgrade to executive and I can appreciate the quality difference compared to some other similarly priced hotels I’ve stayed at in Germany.

It was a bit confusing to get from the wellness and fitness area back over to the executive tower. After a few missed attempts traveling to different floors, I had to go to the lobby to get back over to the executive tower. A small map or summary guide would help people who are spatially challenged.

As always a welcoming and comfortable stay.

We always stay at the Steigenberger when traveling into and out of Frankfurt. We have found the service we received each time is always excellent. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The amenities they offer are simply the best. We are never disappointed! A big shout out to 2 employees that went about and beyond for us were Paula at the front desk and Marcus from the IT or TV programming. Paula welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. She is very helpful. Marcus came to the rescue when we had trouble with our TV. He came right away and fixed it, explained to us the problem. He also stated not to hesitate to call again if we have any further problems or questions. These are just 2 examples of why we stay at the Steigenberger.

Overnight stay before flight

Extremely clean room and very good size with everything you need. Reception even let me use a freezer for some food I was taking on my flight overnight!

Only minor details, I couldn't find a toothpaste and toothbrush for example and the toilet scrubber had a glass that was not properly fixed on the wall.

the welcoming of the staff during checkin specially Miss Ahmed, The amount of brightness in reception and lobby was great, the garden that is attached to the lobby and restaurant was very comfortable and tidy.

in fact two thing could be improved, the amount of noise that came from A/C can be fixed and the toilet floor which gave the feeling of unstable during shower. (made from plastic)

Ahmed at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I was very stressed out because I had missed my connecting flight home because Lufthansa was two hours late so I had to spend the night in Frankfurt.

Bed and pillows were too soft for my taste. Lighting system was unnecessarily complicated.

our third time staying in the hotel, it is now showing signs of wear, but the price went up. We thought it was overpriced. Food was overpriced as well. A burger should not cost 26 euros :).
