Right in the centre of Strasbourg

The hotel is in a very central position, yet very quiet. It is an old building, with the facade, the staircase and other details preserved. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to help me with my requests.

I was there during a paticularly cold spell, and the electric heating was close to its limit.

Well-located and modern apartment-hotel

Good size room, good kitchenette, comfy bed, large bathroom and separate toilet. My room was very light and airy, great lighting, it appears to be recently refurbished/repainted. Wifi is good and there are a generous 14 (fourteen!) power sockets around the room. Large TV with cable channels (some US news networks but no UK, not even BBC World). The location is ideal, adjacent to Homme de Fer (tram interchange) + Place Kleber: walking distance from main sights and old town, many shops and restaurants, feels safe. Despite this busy, central location, my room was very quiet!

Front-of-house reception is only open 14.00-22.00 (before that it is located on 1st floor). Room layouts may vary but my room was not ideal: TV is strangely-placed, side-on to bed, which is difficult to view from the bed and invisible from anywhere that you could place a chair; wardrobe not easily accessible. The desk is very wide, but not very deep so difficult to use a laptop. Gym is a bit sad, dark (lights not working) and not well-equipped with weights as far as I could see.

The location is great for a stay in Strasbourg very close to the Cathedral, Main Square and there is a Monoprix 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was okay, there was Gluten Free bread available which is not always the case, the Breakfast Room staff very friendly and helpful.

The room we were allocated was well below the standard we had expected. The Kitchen had no cleaning products, no plug for the sink and the Freezer door in the Refrigerator did not close leading to the refrigerator freezing up. The Bathroom door was very swollen and the sink did not hold water when the plug was in use. The whole room could have done with a proper clean. There are signed through out the complex requesting 5 star Reviews they clearly had not checked our room.

When we are next in Strasbourg, we will stay at the Aparthotel Adagio.

Our room was spacious, well-equipped, clean and quiet, everything we could have hoped for. Its location was convenient to access the cathedral and other sites as well as shopping. But what made Aparthotel Adagio Strasbourg stand out for us was the staff. Each person was friendly, efficient and helpful. In particular, first my wife and then I fell ill during our stay; the staff were supportive and Jean helped us to contact a doctor.

Very handy spot to stay. A bit older accom but worth the money

Was a bit aged. The dishwasher didn’t work and the shower was over the bathtub but had a funny uneven base and a big step out.

Location is perfect, minutes away from city center, minutes away from tram station to any direction. Access is easy, 15 minutes walk from main railway station. Personel OK. Breakfast is OK, yet not variated, same thing every day, but OK for a short stay.

It's quite strange (even if seems to be as standard of the area) to have the toilet in a separate room without a sink to be able to wash your hands... You are forced to go to the toilet in one room, that exit that room and go into another to wash your hands...

La vie en rose!

So we started with a very nice girl at the reception, followed with a nice room, interaacted with friendly staff during our stay, learned some French. Even the cleaning lady was helpful without speaking any English she made sure we got our question answered. Hotel is near to everything, cosy, basically you have everything you need at the tip of your fingers or feet, you dont need trams actually, or taxi but take a boat ride. Some street noise you can hear (trams) when looking towards the street. I find it "white noise" and I like it, some more sensitive people may want to ask other side room when booking. In the toilet, a towel might be useful since there is a washbin there so you dont go with wet hands dripping. And some in advance instructions how to handle garbage would be useful (thats where nice cleaning lady helped us) because in EU every country has its own requirements. All in all, veeery nice city, very nice hotel, veery nice staff. And we ended with the same nice girl at the reception saying Au revoir. Would I return...really yes.

Lovely place

Spacious apartment. Aircon and towel heater. We didn't have any coffee, milk etc but could use the coffee machine at the breakfast area. The little courtyard was lovely!

No sign on the roadside to show where you must go in. Only on the doors itself.

Strongly recommended

This is the best place to stay in Strasbourg. It is originally located near a tram station and in one of the city's most beautiful neighbourhoods. It has comfortable, modern rooms, as well as well-designed public areas, including a gym, a library, and, of course, a restaurant serving breakfast. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel will not be what we remember about Strasbourg.

Bed was comfortable, location was good, air conditioning worked.

Breakfast was mediocre. Some fresh fruit on offer was too old and/or defective. Selection was rather limited and items m(pancakes, crepes, waffles) were prepared and left on a plate and cold. It’s not a true apartment hotel. While there is small kitchen and fridge,there is very limited-space to eat and sit other than your bed. There was also a number of silverfish running around and while I know it is an old building seeing them did not inspire confidence.

The room was very quiet and the Nuxe soap was a real treat! Being able to see the Cathedral steeple from my window was also very nice.

There wasn't a little kit for the dishes, no sponge, no tablet for the dishwasher etc, just a bit of dishwashing liquid. The TV channel offer was a bit weak, but I didn't come to watch TV.

No staff available for checkout, waited 20 mins and no one about 8.30 in the morning so not an unusual time to check out - therefore we couldn’t get discounted parking verified and had to pay 64 euro to park - not good enough really, someone should be available

It was the worse experience ever

This property does not reflect 4 stars rank at all. The level of humidity and moist inside the rooms was unbearable, 2 members of my family had difficulty breathing. There were flies in the rooms, one room had a broken bed and the other a folded one with no proper mattress, the dishwasher was in and smelly. I asked the receptionist to cancel the reservation for the remaining 2 nights which she agreed to do unhappily. However, she refused to communicate with Booking.com that she did because of the mentioned issues. Anyway, we checked out the next day and we moved to another 4 star’s accommodation just around the corner from this property and I can’t tell you how much it really deserved the evaluation it has. Everything was clean, tidy, airy and comfortable.

Great choice for Strasbourg

Location is close to the city center! One of the best hotels breakfast, lot of varieties including local and international options. Kindness of the hostess employee. They permit leave luggage before check-in hour.

Reception entrance is closed and depending the hours you need to call to open de main door. Besides that, everything was smoothly.
