Never again unless the issues are resolved.
The location was fine and the room was quite clean. However as will become clear in the following review the whole experience was very disappointing, not withstanding that the two members of staff, who certainly were not the owners tried their very best.
It was clear that BOOKING.COM should not have accepted our request to book for 6 days. The hotel was empty and in a state of renovation. We were the only people staying and the list of issues is long. Firstly the room was not painted, especially around the door that looked temporary anyway. Although the property boasts services like breakfast (there was none), a restaurant (it was closed or did not exist) and a sauna (well that was never going to work)! In terms of the basics, the fridge did not work until we asked for it to be fixed, the toilet was stained and the light bulbs in the room light were not of a correct wattage. The wall electric socket had come away from the wall. There was no hot water for the first days, and each day a plumber had to be called in, one day from Nice (270kms away) to try and replace the boiler. It was erratic at best so we boiled kettles to at least shave and have a cat-bath. The shower head was so dirty and anyway there was no where to place the shower so we were supposed, even if there had been hot water to sit and hold the shower. Eventually hot water appeared, not much pressure only in the morning. Overall it was clear that the hotel was closed yet were happy to accept 750 Euros and offer us two vouchers for their restaurant worth 100 Euros in recompense. Towards the end of the stay, the male staff member had a family emergency and left, leaving a sweet but totally incapable lady who in fairness tried her best. It is shameful on BOOKING.COM to have allowed such a situation and by the way they never respond.

Dated and dirty
The location and the two people we met in the morning were pleasant
Don’t trust the property's own pictures. In spite of reading a handful of passable reviews, we booked a two-day stay at this property; it was central for our stay in Mesnerbes. We had emailed in advance to drop our luggage at 10am, we were shown the bedroom in advance and were given keys. Upon arriving at the hotel by 22:00, all was pitch black, there was no lights in the car park or hotel entrance; we had been told the reception would be manned until midnight, there was no one. It was only when we got in the bedroom that we fully appreciated how dated everything was, the carpet was also doubtful… But most of the comments I would keep for the bathroom: yes the décor was obviously very dated, the biggest towels were hand towels, there was no shower but a hose/shower head to manually use in the bath, and most importantly we gathered a handful of long dark human hair from the whole floor. The same kind we found later inside the bed!!! We emailed the property straight away, it was late, we offered to discuss it all in the morning. We were up at 8am, there was no one at reception, we waited a while and decided to leave. The negative experience probably made us realised how shabby some of the public areas/corners and exteriors looked too, the two abandoned-looking cars in the car park were an added sign. We decided to forfeit the second night and book elsewhere hoping we would be able to cancel the booking via Booking.com. We had paid £225 for two nights. Since then, we got a partial refund. To everyone else reading this review, this is an honest account of our experience; there are lots of other properties in the area, some better priced, do yourself a favour, don’t tempt fate and pay over the odds, avoid this property at all cost.

The staff is very helpful and tries hard to make your stay special. It’s a great base from which to explore the Luberon
Beautiful location, spacious rooms, very thoughtful staff, amazingly large buffet breakfast, great local wines.
We stayed 3 nights in October and the room heater didn’t work, but the bathroom one did so it was chilly in the evenings, They did have good blankets so sleeping wasn’t as issue for us.

Beautiful property. We did not the chance to eat in the restaurant.
Everything was excellent

Fine for the price and location.
The room was clean, large and the hotel's location was lovely.
The decor is very dated. We don't speak French but we really really struggled to communicate with the lady on reception, even when using Google Translate, so it made it really hard to book taxis for the wedding we were attending. The breakfast was a bit odd, the waitress seemed to want to get away from us. It's a shame they don't do a bit more to make the hotel work better - given how beautiful the building and location are.

Beautiful location but not the friendly place I was expecting
Greeting of customers appalling waited for 30 minutes at reception Asked for a room with bath and a very kind gentleman accommodated but the receptionist was very very rude
No aircon mini fridge empty no bath robes as stated We were checking out this location for a family wedding wanted to experience it first hand but after the rudeness of the lady we felt uncomfortable and wouldn’t even use the Resturant

Lovely weekend stay
Lovely few days with my friend attending a birthday celebration nearby. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Likes our room, which had a main bed, plus mezzanine with additional beds. Pool is lovely and a great way to start the day. Had not realised we had breakfast included. It's buffet style and good.
No issues.

exceedingly disappointing
nothing
reception staff was stone faced, not an ounce of friendliness or welcoming about them. i apparently was the only guest in the hotel when i checked in, staff did not inform me whether the restaurant was open or not. the room was exceedingly basic, only a very deep tub in the bathroom, not combination shower. nearly killed myself trying to get out of the deep and slippery tub, there were no support handles. the filter in the faucet of the sink was crying out for replacement it sprayed water all over the counter. the " hair dryer " was and ancient model, just pathetic that this was still in the bathroom. no efforts were made to provide a 2025 model hair dryer. bed was uncomfortable, mattress was very hard, seemed like a piece of plywood. the bed was made in my room the next day despite there being a " DO NOT DISTURB " sign on the door handle. there were signs some repairs had been started but not finished nor the cleaning after.
