Worst ever stay in a novotel

Secure parking. Convenient location close to autoroute.

Uncooked chicken served at dinner. Not being able to sleep owing to unacceptable noise from residents in adjacent room. Smell of cigarette smoke in corridors. No hot water in the morning.

Location

The room was tired. There was no fitted sheet just a poor cover that was not a sheet. We were not asked to make a booking for the restaurant on arrival and went into the restaurant and were told even though there were many spare tables to go back to the bar and wait. They eventually found us a table. Waitresses were too busy running the bar and restaurant and as a result their manner with us was impolite.

Great stay!

We have stayed here a few times before and we love how nice the staff are, how easy check in and check out is, how close to the motorway the hotel is located and how accommodating they are for families with children and dogs. It's a fantastic place for an overnight stay when travelling.

Baffles me how Accor can get away with this Novotel in 2025 and charging 140 euros per night for a 1990s room rooms are old & tired, peeling paint, old electrics, mouldy aged bathroom. Restaurant food quality poor and overpriced Check-in not very friendly

The whole hotel smelt of sewerage and the staffs answer was to give us an air freshener. It is incredibly over priced and I would like compensation. We should have been warned of the smell and given the option to stay somewhere else.

Everything , food was beyond awful , don’t eat dinner here , was up all night sick after it , breakfast was continental with just boiled eggs (didn’t want to risk them ) , rooms were grubby , shower head rusty , grout was manky , all bed linen , pillows must have been disposable crap , felt like it was filled with straw , awful awful

Nice stop on our way to the South of France

The breakfast was nice, the pool was fun for the kids and the rooms were clean and had enough room for us all. For us it's a perfect stop on our way too and from the south of France from The Netherlands. This was our 2nd time stopping here.

Perfect for stop over on journey south.

Large room , near an access door to the garden for the dog. Bed very comfortable and room clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Didn’t have breakfast as I felt the set price of €19 euros was too expensive when I only wanted to have a coffee and toast or croissant.

Pleasant stay with good facilities - a bit expensive

Parking has plenty of spaces and is conveniently located just outside the main entrance on the ground floor. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Located just off the motorway (2 minutes by car). Plenty of green space outside with a pool and table tennis table. Indoor free table football (although with a cork ball for some reason!) Dinner is of good quality.

Dinner was a bit expensive.

A good place to stay.

The hotel is very comfortable. It has an open bar area and a restaurant area. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We sat in the bar area and had a lovely meal in the restaurant with very nice wine. Our room was a superior double. It was a good size with a mini fridge and a lovely shower room. There were two doors separating the toilet from the bedroom which was good. Downstairs they have a water dispenser which is great for fresh cold water when you need it. They even sell stainless steel bottles for you to use. The pool looked good but we didn’t have time to use it.

There was a strange smell, possibly drains, in the room. We had to keep the window wide open, then we didn’t notice it.

Great hotel, nice staff and amazing facilities

Pool was amazing as well as the surrounding garden! Volleyball, table tennis, sandpit for the children! Big supermarket and French boulangerie just across the road. Outlet shopping center in walking istance as well as a nice park with a lake and a playground plus just off the motorway. Perfect stopover for us!

Unfriendly staff and dirty pool

The vegetarian burger was pretty good. I asked for a baby cod and there was one in the room ready to use. The location of the hotel is perfect when you're on the road. The hotel looked pretty good and had a welcoming atmosphere.

When we arrived with four people (2 adults, one child and one toddler) in the room that we had were only three bed made. We had to discover the bed for our daughter underneath the couch. It was not ready to use. There was no pillow. The bin around the pool was full in the evening and the following morning. A plant is hanging next to the pool, many guests hit there head on it (remove it!). I ordered a large beer (10 euros!) when we arrived ready for diner. The staff weren't welcoming and were looking angry towards us. Don't know why. I have never experienced so much resentment towards guests, anywhere! The food at the diner was less worthy of a fast food restaurant. The bread of the hamburger was the only good thing. The chicken was way to dry and the portions of the different meals were to small.

Normal Motel. Great for kids. Good breakfast.

The pool is great for kids! My son also enjoyed the basketball hoop area and ping pong table (outside) as well as the soccer table located inside. The breakfast buffet is also great make sure to include in your booking!

We thought the room would be a bit larger and we felt pretty crammed as a family of 4. However since everything else was ok we couldn't really complain. We had a room with one big bed and a couch which folds out into a bed....We would stay again but book a larger room next time.
