Great location and friendly staff make this ideal for visiting Chartres

Very friendly welcome from staff on arrival Room comfortable and adequate for stay Breakfast was good although scambled eggs were not very warm Great location handy for town and all amenities Car park to rear of hotel

Some of the breakfast items could have been a little warmer as they were only above hot water baths It would be great to get 'free' tea and coffee during the stay as outside of meal times this is a 'paid' for item

Good budget hotel, but don’t bother with breakfast.

It was central, clean and good value for money.

Parking and breakfast was expensive for what it was. The staff at breakfast appeared more interested in the screen on reception than ensuring all had breakfast. Egg boiling machine wasn’t boiling eggs and after waiting 15 minutes for my eggs to be ready some old boy rocked up and nicked it!

Pleasant stay in a 3 star hotel in a good location

The location is excellent: just a couple of minutes from the railway station and 5-10 minutes from the cathedral. My room (213) was very peaceful which meant that I could sleep very well. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The breakfast buffet was a little bit disappointing. I expected much better cheese in France! I think that the cheese slices on offer were pretty tasteless. A kettle in the bedroom would have been a welcome extra. One negative thing: they are not happy if you arrive early! I had exactly the same experience at the Campanile in Limoges. They will reluctantly let you leave your luggage. Otherwise no major complaints.

the neighbors had a party. it was noisy all night. the windows were not soundproofed. it's not the hotel's fault, but it was impossible to sleep. didn't like the breakfasts. if other hotel guests had breakfast before you, the fridge will be empty. the breakfast is small.

Great location, great staff, great time.

The location could not have been better. The staff, particularly Jean-Paul at check-in, were welcoming, friendly and informative. The room itself was large, with an amazing view of the cathedral, decent air-con and a good-size bed. Shower was also good, with plenty of hot water. And the parking facility was a bonus.

Breakfast might be viewed as a little expensive, and there was a lack of freshly brewed coffee. But otherwise, we were really happy with our stay.

Central location with parking.

Really bad smell of drains during our whole stay. Reported it to reception (the extractor fan wasn't working either) but nothing was done. Breakfast wasn't good and staff seemed very flustered. No tea making facilities in the room (we had to go down to the dining room and help ourselves).

very convenient, good value for money for a city centre hotel

Hotel is conveniently located near to the Cathedral, station and the city centre. Its carpark is immediately behind the hotel, at an extra charge. We found the hotel to be very good value for a city centre location, suitable quality decor and facilities for its price range. Reception area is spacious and welcoming, with a lounge area immediately adjacent. Staff is helpful and courteous. Our room (3rd floor) was spacious and light, good ventilation and good views towards the Cathedral.
