Chalet Hôtel Le Prieuré & Spa

We paid for a superior room and it was great - tastefully decorated with views of the mountains. I loved the environmental initiatives, including posters on the stairwell about exercise.

Honestly this summer I would have loved aircon!

Spacious rooms, well stocked with coffee and tea. Beautiful balcony with view. Spa is fantastic, the outdoor sauna is a real highlight. Hotel location is excellent.

We were unable to park our van due to limited parking spaces. The hotel also charge €30 per night for parking which I think is ridiculous. We paid less per night in the car park down the street. I messaged asking the hotel to inform me if the room was available earlier than 4pm, they informed me that early check in was €30 extra… even if the room was available?

comfy bed. easy check in. good size room. clean. friendly staff. good location

There were clothes in the room from the previous guests. There were exposed pipes coming out of the wall and a LARGE bump under the carpet where the renovation works are poorly done. parking is advertised on booking.com but was not actually available on site. The hotel managers response was to tell me that i should read their website. My opinion is that they should indicate this on booking.com . The spa area is nice but very badly designed in terms of access and changing.
