Location is great. Breakfast was very good. Stay very gentle
Door of the bathroom was broken. Shower almost overflew because water was going away very slowly. Bed was making a bit of noise.

The location is good and near to tram and bus stops. The room was good and everything worked.
We have stayed in lots of Mercure hotels in several continental countries and they have the same "feel". Entering the foyer on a Sunday afternoon it was like entering a young persons club. It was busy and noisy and it was hard to identify where Reception was. It turned out to be at the bar.
Seating arrangements in the bedroom were poor. One proper chair and a stool.
We were told that we could store our e-bikes in the hotel car park. This is 1 floor down but about 50m from the hotel. While the security arrangement were good, getting bikes/luggage in and out was hard work.
The restaurant was just about OK for dinner on our first evening so we found a lovely restaurant on the river for dinner on our second evening.
The staff approach to breakfast appears to be a competition to ignore guests in spite of T shirts saying "We are pleased to see you". While the spread of food is generous the service is not. When asked if baguettes were available the answer was a shrug,

The location is good for the restaurants of Le Havre and they have secure underground parking for €11 per night. Beds and linen were fine but no feather pillows - only man made fibre. Breakfast was good.
For a 4* hotel and for €140 plus per night this hotel was not good enough.
Rooms had been renovated 5ish years ago but on the cheap. Paint and woodwork were scuffed and dirty especially around AC vents. Bathroom was tired despite the revamp. Under the guise of “eco measures” there was no water, proper drinking glasses, or coffee… really?! Why not use glass bottles and glasses, and find a way to put coffee in the room?
No feather pillow options either.
Downstairs had been done up heavily but ended up looking like a chaotic hostel common room.

The room is in good size
Can’t believe a 4 star hotel is not providing any bottle waters during the stay, no clean kit as well.

Rooms were spacious, nice hotel concept
The parking was sufficiently complicated that we couldn't find the garage underneath - despite being given directions.

The staff were superb. Due to the weather conditions, my grandson & I were late arriving, so we had no time for exploring. The kitchen was open until 22.00, which we just made. Service excellent. Also, coffee, tea & snacks were available throughout the day.

The location was good, the most things are reachable by foot. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was good, we eventually parked next to the hotel to avoid the costs of parking. This was a good alternative. Parking on the street is also possible. Aslo there is no direct access between the parking garage and the hotel.
A lot was, in our opinion, not 4-star worthy service. The room was clean, but the basic toiletries were missing (shower cap, nail set etc). Then we noticed that we booked a room for 2 persons, but the room had only a small table with 1 chair and no desk. Everyday we had to ask if we could get another chair, because everyday housekeeping would remove the chair.... Then we quickly noticed that the "airco" was a small air ventilation that is generically operated, meaning you can't change the temperature or power. This was annoying because it was warm in our room. Then we thought we could open the window and let in some fresh air. Well that didn't work... the window is small and the hotel is situated at the end of a large basin with sea water. But this water has no movement and there are dead fish in it, so the smell is just awful. Besides the smell, it was also noisy. Our room was close to the road, so the traffic and other sounds made it impossible to sleep without earplugs, so definetly pack some against the noise. Opening the windows wasn't a option either. Also the lighting in the badroom is poor, there is only 1 light and it's a bad light so not very convenient. Something else which we found very weird is that the lobby has some games and everything and next to it is an office for employers. The employers have a mobile airco (I guess because the general airco doesn't work properly), but instead of letting the warm air from the airco go to outside, they let it go to the lobby where the pooltable and everything is. The result is that in the evening, it is very hot in there because the airco had been blowing warm air the whole day. Again, I don't really understand how they got 4 stars since I didn't find it very 4 star worthy.

we really enjoyed our stay thanks very much
the bathroom needs more hanging facilities
the shower could be improved

the toll roads cost do add up and was costly
but still rated 10/10 because the overall experience was fantastic

The Staff in the restaurant was super nice and helpful. Really nice guys with passion for their work.
Hotel was renovated and the room looked very good.
In general public spaces in and outside were not clean. Hotel Parking access is a disaster. It is better tonuse public parking.

The lady on the check in was very friendly.
Room was normal, nothing fancy.
Air conditioning : changed room because it was not working, same problem in the other room.
Apparently it is not a real air conditioning but more like an air cooler thing.
Then please, do not advertise you have airconditioning when clearly you have not!
I specifically booked at mercure for the air conditioning and would have booked somewhere else if I had known this and might have gotten more sleep then...

Quick Check-in and check-out, super friendly and helpful staff, welcome detox water and fresh fruits, nice lobby area with a refreshing vibe.
The interior design of the room was not cozy. The tub was small, and it was not even comfortable for a shower.
A small window in the room makes the room dark and you cannot enjoy the nice view; cause the location is superb and that's unfortunate! (I think due to the fact that the building is quite old and has its unique architecture).

Location, staff friendliness, room cleanliness, internet speed
No door for the bathroom shower: water all over the floor
