Spectacular views

Nice outlook by the sea

Good location, on the beach, quiet promenade in the evenings, 10 minute walk to the town centre but also plenty of eateries only 100m away. Staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was fine, and the hotel parking was easily accessible. Room and bathroom were fine although not overly large (normalfor a 3 star hotel I would say).

Be aware there is no lift although the lady helped us up the stairs with our luggage. Smart tv would be good. No milk in the room for the coffee machine. No showstoppers.

A relaxed and luxurious stay, felt like heaven.

We loved the view, the staff, the breakfast, the decor and the vibe. The easy access to the beach was amazing and beach walks were perfect.

Horrid individual serving at the bar and definitely not worth the €180 a night

Location was great

Parking diabolical don’t believe what they tell you! The young lady working the bar needs to get customer service skills, clearly doesn’t like the English, I watched her communicate with the French and then us english🤔 My wife was mortified with the way she basically threw our drinks on the table and the same when taking the order absolutely astounding manner! We wouldn’t use this hotel again purely because of her! she upset my wife and me and another English couple! I did manage to catch her unaware with a photo which I’ve uploaded! She needs to be trained in customer service or sacked she was completely unprofessional 😡literally cringeworthy.The two other older generation staff were lovely. Our view on to a back wall was disappointing and the smell in our room. If I had of known how steep the stairwell was I’d of not booked with them it’s extremely dangerous for an elder person very very steep. I’ve uploaded pictures. Definitely not worth the crazy price tag of €180 for one night.

Great view and location, warm welcome

Hotel Alba truly impressed me with its exceptional beachfront location right on Sillon beach; I particularly appreciated the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. I also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, especially with the great view from the breakfast room looking right out over the magnificent ocean. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for a perfectly relaxing experience. If you're looking for a memorable and scenic stay in Saint-Malo, this is definitely the place! Great to have parking

The ocean view and it is walkable to city center and train station as well.

The room price was a bit high and our friend paid less and got an upgrade for their stayed :(((((( Plus the room was pretty small for two persons and the bed, pillows could be better...

Cozy, small boutique hotel at great value for money

Nice, small and cozy hotel very close to the beach. Breakfast was lovely, with impressive views on the coast and a great assortisement of croissants, pain au chocolat, etc. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Location was a bit far from the city center, "intramuros", it took around 30 minutes per journey, but it was a nice stroll.

The parking of the hotel is very limited, only for few cars, but it is possible to find places around.

We wished we had stayed in a different hotel with parking, and closer to the walled city.

We enjoyed the view of the sea from our room.

The room and hallways were very small and there was no elevator. We are not big people but had a difficult time moving around the hotel and our room. The hotel is a 25-30 minute walk to the walled city and parking everywhere was difficult. The lot at the hotel holds only 5-7 cars.

Lovely, friendly hotel in a brilliant location.

Location was perfect for strolling to visit the walled city along the beautiful promenade and for playing on the beach and in the sea. Staff were so warm and friendly. Rooms were spotless and spacious. We had a room without the sea view but were delighted to find a great view out over the rooftops and town beyond. Lovely buffet breakfast.

Lovely location, comfortable bed and breakfast, but, under-utilised potential.

Exceptional view of the sea if you choose sea facing with balcony.

Nowhere to wash sea sand off one’s shoes and feet before entering the building. Lounge area and Bar area appears to never be put to use, hotel has a very dead feel to it compared to others that we visited for drinks during the day and into the evenings. Basically does bed and breakfast. Parking is 9.50 euros per night, but, parking on the surrounding streets is free.

cute but it was dead when we stayed. no staff, bar/sitting area was closed except for breakfast. we did not get ocean view as booked, staff wasn’t accommodating for breakfast
