Great hotel, very good breakfast and welcoming staff, excellent value for money

Hotel with free parking, very good breakfast (buffet), great view on the lake from the room, clean and modern room, very friendly staff.

The bathroom will need to be renovated soon: presence of small rust spots in the bathroom, the sink was a bit loose and the washbasin was scratched. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained.

What I can say about this hotel is that our stay was chaotic from start to finish

Nothing, expect the location.

What I can say about this hotel is that our stay was chaotic from start to finish. Every day involved changing rooms due to various issues. On arrival, we were given a family room where the air conditioning wasn’t working. The room temperature was a sweltering 37°C. Staff attempted to fix it late at night but were unsuccessful, so we were moved to two separate rooms as that was the only option available. The next day, after returning from the city center, none of our room keys worked. We discovered that one of our rooms had been reassigned to another guest without informing us. When I was given a new key and entered the room, it was already occupied by a couple—an incredibly awkward and unacceptable situation. We were then given yet another room, but again, the air conditioning didn’t work. We had to spend the night with the window and door open just to get some air. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made in both maintenance and guest management.

Easy access. Good bus connections to the city centre of strassbourg.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. If you are allergic to nuts, you have to be careful! The cheese was decorated with walnuts. A no-go in a hotel chain if you ask us.

AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. When you arrive at the hotel to check in, they ask you to give 150€ for guarantee until you leave. At the checkout i asked them in how many days i will get the money back and they said to me "in about 3-4 days, dependes on the country of the bank" . After one month and multiple contacts i made with them I didn't get anything. Bank told me that the hotel didn't make the return of the money and there is no problem with the bank. I called the hotel and they didn't answer!! AWAY FROM THEM, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET FOOLED!

AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. We booked a room with view to the lake , we paid for it. When we arrived at the hotel (one hour after the check in started) they told us that the room was not ready and they didn't know what time will it be ready. Just this! After that they try to give us a lower price room , in the higher price we paid and i didn't accept that of course. And one month later , they keep our money that they asked for "guarantee"!!!!

Very clean hotel and spotles. Comfortable bed and everything you need in bathroom is there.

Room is a little bit smaller, and the door of the bathroom is not a door but rather a sliding door with not at all privacy.

The mattress is good. Nice staff. Parking is free.

You need to pay 150euro as deposit for any damage. That’s not usual. The room we got towards the road and was somehow noisy. The clean lady tried to open the door in the morning around 9am while we were still sleeping.

We took a rather long trip through central and western Europe and stayed in two other Holiday Inn hotels, but this is the only one that pre-charged a damage fee of 150eur on top of the room fee. Even though the receptionist said that the additional fee was going to be refunded by the end of the day we left, it did not happen. This is a very unpleasant policy - the hotel has info about our payment card and can charge a damage fee afterwards should anything go wrong. Also, do consider placing mosquito net on the windows. There were plenty of mosquitos standing on our window, and we could not open it during the entire stay.
