beautiful hotel with excellent facilities around the hotel, great food and nice staff

I was bitten, i cant prove they were bed bugs, i squished 2 insects on my pillow. I still have slightly itchy skin and small red marks 7 weeks later. very difficult to get through to book things in advance... golf tennis and spa shower didn't work very well.. very drippy

Very nice

We were greeted with a lovely birthday surprise for my partner, with champagne, cake and balloons. This was a very thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were helpful with getting us to the train station in time for our train and shuttling us to the centre.

The reception needs a bit of a face lift :) And the reception staff could explain the hotel facilities on arrival. We had to wait 2 hours for our room, in the meantime they could have invited us to use the spa or go to the bar.

A beautiful, luxurious hotel in a fabulous location. Please go!

The room was lovely with a really stunning room. We particularly loved the bathroom - really exquisite. The location is fabulous, out of Deauville centre but great for that reason. It felt like a real treat staying there - even if I have to admit I booked this mistakenly, thinking I booked the Barriere in the centre!

The only thing which we didn’t wholly like is the cost of the bar drinks. €54 for 3 drinks! I know it’s a beautiful and expensive hotel but the drinks were basic, they weren’t cocktails or exclusive spirits. We also waited for quite a while before being served. So this took the edge off our stay just slightly. But it wouldn’t put me off coming back.

the service was friendly, professional the location of this hotel is quiet in the midst of the Normandy countryside and close to a golf course. a shuttle service is available to get easily to downtown.

it’s a beautiful hotel in a peaceful location not to far from the center. the room are amazing spacious and beds super comfortable.

now my only problem is it’s a four star hotel but no air conditioner in the entire hotel. I know we are in Normandie but to be in the middle of July in such hot weather and not have an air conditioner is ridiculous. I’ve to to hotels in moscow and Sweden and they all had air conditioners. so I would expect for a four star hotel no matter where it is to have this option.

lovely stay at the golf Barriere !

I have been a regular client to the Barriere resort in Deauville, The rénovation of the property has been a great success. I like the zen vibe of the golf while being minutes away from the center. The Executive room is very comfortable with stunning views over the golf and sea.

The hotel is understaffed , waiting time can be long. A lot of seminars are being organized at the property and they get the priority as opposed to couples and families. At this price point you would expect more service. Bathroom amenities could be better.

A nice hotel that could be very nice if addressing the issues

The location is pleasant and... really quiet. Well accommodated breakfast. Nice view (sea view when available).

* Very poor booking experience : after accepting our sea view bookings, hotel called 2 weeks before our arrival to inform us that sea view rooms were not available due to uncompleted work !!!! "Offering" a 10% discount for moving us to a golf view room (of which the rate was lower anyway). After expressing our strong disagreement, hotel increased the "discount" to 20% ! Our request to talk to management was never fulfilled. * no air conditioning in rooms (this is a 4 * hotel claiming to be eligible for 5 * one). * at least a second restaurant would be welcome.

Wonderful Hotel and premessi

i didnt spend much time in the hotel but everyhing from the Lobby to the breakfast to the rooms to the panaroma from my room was very nice. The only issue i got very upset was that when we arrived late to the hotel and the main gate was closed, the instrustions for the secondary entry was very very poor. So we lost a lot of time to find it. I also informed the concierge about this, hope they took care of it.
