I plan to perhaps stay again on my next visit, but will be more vigilant on my room type.

The location was superb to the sights and on the main train line from the train station. Easy access to everything.

I booked a larger room. At check in, I was told that I received an upgrade. The room was cramped. When I inquired about room size, I was told that I was given an upgrade. The upgraded room was smaller… but had a balcony they said. The balcony is of no use when it’s 30 degrees and raining. I should have insisted on a room change upon arrival, but we were travel weary, and nothing could be done.

Great breakfast but average, cold room

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious!

Cold separate toilet in our room with no heating, the bathroom was also freezing. They promised to do something special for my partner’s 30th and then didn’t. The tv only provides French channels and screen sharing doesn’t work as the WiFi on the screen doesn’t coincide with that we are given. Having to pay so much for 1 hour of spa as a hotel guest is crazy.

Even though the overall design of the room was great, there was virtually no layout space in the bathroom on or near the vanity for toiletries. The narrow ledge over the toilet, on the opposite side of the bathroom was not practical for this. And a handrail for towels would be very beneficial as the heated towel rack could only accommodate one persons towels once used.

A warm, easy stay right in the heart of Strasbourg.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic and made everything easy. We arrived by train from Paris and reached the hotel in about eight minutes by tram. Once you are here, you can walk to almost everything, especially during the Christmas market season. Great cafés, restaurants, pastry shops and the main sights are all right downstairs, which makes it simple to explore and enjoy the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming and multilingual. There is also a nice restaurant on the lobby floor, which adds to the convenience. Our room had a comfortable amount of space and a cozy feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which was perfect after full days of walking around the city. The room was clean and had its own distinct decor, which gave it some character. This is also a great base for day trips. Getting to Colmar, Eguisheim and other nearby towns was straightforward and stress free.

One small note about our room is that the space between the bed and the wall with the TV was quite narrow, and since that was the path to the bathroom, we ended up walking through that tight spot often.

Good location, but not a 5-stars as should be!

Very well located

The shower has very little water, even it’s a spa hotel. The mattress are very hot and without them it’s cold! The cleaning staff was very noisy early in the morning, waking us up before wanted! The breakfast was ok, but the cakes were not fresh and today we didn’t have croissants at all!

Parking was an absolute nightmare. Do not stay here if you want ease. Hotel parking not possible — long walk from public garage. There was a party the night we arrived, making dinner not possible after a long journey. Terrible value for the money.

Highly satisfactory stay, I definitely recommend the hotel

The hotel location is great at the city center so all sightseeing spots are on walking distance. The room was specious and clean, bathroom was very nice and toiletry of high quality. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

The only point is the breakfast is quite expensive but there are lot's of patisseries around, it wasn't a problem.

Disaster

Unfortunately this hotel was a big disappointment for us. One the day of arrival we drove by car 8 hours to reach Strasbourg, upon calling reception to get a car parking we were notified that they had only 7 car parking places and they are all reserved.The person on the phone was extra rude and didn’t explain us where to park nor assisted us with baggage or how to deal with it, moreover that person just hang the phone on us. We tried call many times back and ask for details how to reach Hôtel or where to leave the car…No help. Only because it was prepaid we had to finally find on our own and check in, otherwise we would have canceled and drove elsewhere.

They have racist employees who don’t welcome others. I had a dinner with my wife, two daughters and female guest. The waiter was behaving in a very strange way with negative attitude.

Great stay - would come again!

Great central location and very well decorated, comfortable rooms. The staff were excellent; we checked out to find that the roadworks in Strasbourg had given us a flat tyre, and Julien, the concierge, was able to help us find someone to repair it on a Sunday afternoon, which saved our vacation. Expensive, but worth the money

Bed comfortable. Bathroom well equipped with a good hot powerful shower. Breakfast good. Quiet, comfortable rooms despite being on Strasbourg’s main boulevard.

This is an up market signature brand city centre hotel. As such you expect things to be near perfect. The Maisonette Rouge is good, but not to the same standard as other Autograph hotels. For example the A/C was at a fixed temperature and could not be changed. There was always a queue for the lift in the lobby. The Concierge was missing most of the time. Nothing major but not what you expect for the price.

A place you wanna come back to.

This place has fully met our expectations. The stuff was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The hotel room was clean and beautiful. The restaurant is a pearl of this place. We had an amazing dinner there. Staying in Maison Rouge was the best decision we made on my wife's birthday. Hope we'll come back one day.

Having Youtube or access to smart functions on the TV would be great.

Very comfortable place for a visit to Strasbourg.

The rooms and bathroom was incredibly comfortable, and the bed was amazing. The spa is excellent and it was mostly empty when I was there. The gym was also really nice. Breakfast is nice with a good selection. Location is great for the center.

Great hotel with an excellent location

Perfect location for multiple visits to the Christmas Markets and restaurants . Very good accommodation and very helpful staff and Concierge . I requested a feather pillow and a non-slip mat for the bath/shower , which were immediately supplied We really enjoyed our stay.

Room was noisy - could hear TV in next room. Couldn’t get the hang of the lights, they were either all on or off. Breakfast was disappointing, especially for the price charged. Egg white not cooked properly in Benedict. Scrambled eggs over cooked (like rice) and cold when served. Tea and coffee were lukewarm. For the price, really shouldn’t have had to pay extra to access the spa.

The location, architecture and staff were fantastic. The hotel is located about 4 streets away from the cathedral. The also have a great bar at the hotel.

The parking situation is not great, we had to park in a public garage, but the concierge of the hotel helped us get all the luggage from the public garage to our room and back… the hotel has a fantastic service.

Since it has been taken by Marriott group… it is all renovated and the quality of the hotel has reached another level.
