Comfy stay in Yas island

comfy bed, modern hotel, nice facilities and friendly staff

the only issue is that the name as mentioned here in Booking (YAS PLAZA MARINA HOTEL BY IHG) doesn't exist on google map, it took me 30mn looking for it, google took me to Yas Marina, then to Etihad arena, then to Crown. there they helped me with my hotel .

Great hotel, big rooms, great breakfast

We are staying here for 3 nights... the room is very big, breakfast is great with large variety of food. The hotel is a nice one as compared to others that I paid twice the price. Great IHG service.

Abu Dhabi visit

The room was big and very comfortable. Excellent staff, we had dinner at Y bar, very good Seabass. It's close to the airport so you will hear noise from aircraft but it didn't disturb us.

The rooms are spacious, and beds are very comfortable. Great selection for the breakfast. The pool was really nice and heated (we stayed in December so this was very welcome!). The location was amazing, we had a great view of the Yas Marina Circuit.

We had dinner at the Y Bar, unfortunately the food took a long time, but they did compensate us with free dessert. We found the food and drink to be expensive for a 4-star hotel.

Overall very relaxing.

Breakfast was lovely but packed full. Opened extra breakfast location which I was offered, but that was small and lacked the variety of the main breakfast venue. Staff reseated me there with no question.

Only got sun at the pool until about 2pm. This could be made clear at booking. Doesn't worry some people, but I go to lay by the pool and relax in the sun.

Very dissappointed

The size of the room was good. Housekeeping and concierge very friendly. I also liked the Indian Restaurant (only work on the height of the chair - too low).

The hygiene in the Choices Restaurant is appalling. Unused cutlery was left on the table for the next guest (it might have been touched). Several times I needed to ask for a towel to touch the bread before cutting. The table place sets were sticky and filthy. The furniture in the restaurant is run-down and dirty (scrumbled eggs on the arm rest). The cook should also go in a cooking class. For 13 days the same type of potato = cubes. Consider hash browns, potato wedges, etc.

Beautiful room, location and service

Breakfast was fantastic albeit quite pricey. Good selection of options, live omelet station, fresh juices, and everything well replenished. I was lucky to get upgraded to a room overlooking the Yas circuit. Room was pristine! Amazing location at the heart of Yas Island wjere most attractions are. Free bus shuttle to Yas Mall and the theme parks. Staff was super accommodating too and very helpful all along my stay.

The only downside is the noise of the planes, which pass over Yas Island most of the time.

google maps says location closed, just rebranded IHG, so that needs fixing. could not locate booking at first door key first attempt from reception did not work second attempt..at same room worked but someone in room wrong room allocated, embarrassing for occupant annoying for me

Top end kids club staff and amazing concierge

We have stayed at this hotel before and its great the Eamon, in the kids club, was there again!! He is amazing with all ages every time we go. He is one of the reasons we keep returning to this hotel. We were there this time for the little man's 3rd birthday. And did concierge go out of their way!!! I am so so impressed, from extras at Sea World planned for us in secret to cakes and birthday surprises for the little man. I cannot then Asgar enough for all he and the team did. Memories forever

While breakfast is an array of produce it doesn't feel quality produce. It's also wildly busy so plan when you eat there to get into the main restaurant and not the Japanese one as that is quite dark

If you are going to more than 1 park better stay on yas

Loved being so near to all the parks, very easy to just get on a Yas bus and go around. The hotel rooms are very big, bed was super big and comfy. Breakfast was yummy and lots of choices, kids are acknowledged too with hot chocolates, pancakes ect

Lovely stay

had a lovely stay at Rotana Hotel, Yas Island. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I had a great night’s sleep! The location is ideal, with easy access to Yas attractions and the airport. Would definitely stay again!

My only downside was that the food and drinks were quite expensive, which made dining in a bit less enjoyable. Otherwise, a lovely experience.

The room not clean enough. The TV not smart. The food not fresh. No refrigerator. The reception man is not straight forward. The reception guy is not dressed well. The reception guy didn’t treat me well. They gave me the bill without envelope same like small shops. The TV remote is not working.

We went for the Ed Sherhan concert, we were greeted warmly by Snow on concierge and dealt with effi

1. The electrical fault was dealt with very quickly and resolved. 2. When I fell sick, staff allowed my friend to bring me some toast to our room. 3. Staff brought me lovely soup as I was sick. 4. Restaurant staff phoned the room to enquire about me and asked about me in the restaurant the next day.

The fridge wasn't working, and despite reporting it, I wasn't attended to. A small problem, but cold water would have been nice when feeling so ill.
